During his retaliation against the Lin household, he deliberately exploits the fact that the family cannot afford to harm someone claimed by the Joyous Immortal Sect’s holy maiden 1 3 5.

He takes pleasure in fighting and can be exceptionally cruel to enemies, particularly those responsible for Xiaolian’s death. Nevertheless, he distinguishes retaliation from indiscriminate murder: he spares a maid who once shared her food with him and tells Ling Qiuzi that he will not kill her without enmity. His apparent recklessness has limits. He retreats when continued fighting would kill him and delays confronting Blood Town’s formation until he has a better chance of surviving its punishment. Retaliation Against the Lin Lineage

After Lin Yu murders Xiaolian, Lin Tian waits for his countdown to finish and receives the Heavenly Sword. He kills Aunt Wang, Steward Li, the servants who abused his predecessor, and Lin Yu, sparing the maid who once fed him. He then kills Lin Qingqian and Lin Duo before Li Musheng removes him from the estate 1 2 3 4 5.

Blood Town Captivity

Li Musheng poisons Lin Tian with the Moon God Pill and confines him in Blood Town, where captives compete for Sub-Pills and a formation drains blood Qi from corpses. Lin Tian counters the poison through body refinement, hunts forest beasts to advance, and resists Hongyu’s attempts to claim him. Because excessive human killing risks punishment from the formation, he increasingly cripples opponents rather than killing them outright 5 10 11 14 27 31.

Zhenwu and the Thunder Bull Mission

The Zhenwu Mask brings Lin Tian into the Extreme Realm, which assigns him and Ziwei to kill a thousand Thunder Bulls within six hours under threat of death. His slaughter of the herd produces his Mystic Core breakthrough and lightning traits. When the beasts move toward Sword Capital, he suspects their purpose is to gather blood Qi for a Kui Bull; he later refuses to enter the city after anticipating another hidden threat beneath it 16 18 19 22.

Following these events, Lin Tian refines Kui Bull essence and continues cultivating in Blood Town. The resulting transformation develops his thunder talent, advances his body-refining art, and produces the Kui Bull manifestation 24 25 27 33.

Su Clan Succession Contest

For Ziwei’s next Extreme Realm mission, the pair enter the Su Clan contest under Wenren identities and join Su Nan’s team. Lin Tian survives assassins aboard the immortal ship, identifies his need for a movement technique, and begins practicing Swift Wind, Ten Thousand Shadows before entering the Fire Nether Forbidden Land 33 35 39 40 42.

Separated from his allies by spatial turbulence, he defeats an ambusher and a fourth-tier beast, consumes a Dragon Roaming Flower, and later intervenes when multiple attackers pursue Ziwei. His Kui Bull Dharma Idol overwhelms their combined assault. After burying Li Xin and collecting the fallen cultivators’ resources, he cultivates under Ziwei’s protection and reaches three dragons of strength 44 45 46 47 48 49 50.
