Background / History
Qian Renxue is Bibi Dong’s daughter and Qian Daoliu’s granddaughter. Her father died early, while Bibi Dong treated her as a disgrace. She consequently grew up without the parental affection she later sees Tang Wutong enjoy, regarding her grandfather as her only close family 2 6 7.
As Spirit Hall’s infiltrator, she spent years in Heaven Dou City impersonating Crown Prince Xue Qinghe. The assignment required extensive etiquette training and gave her familiarity with imperial policies, noble society, and Heaven Dou Royal Academy 2 10 17 20.
She was pulled from this undercover period into Lin Hao’s home in Guangzhou, alongside Tang Wutong and Gu Yuena. The three came from successive Douluo eras separated by ten thousand years, bringing her into contact with people who already knew accounts of her future 1 2.
Appearance
- Hair: Golden, draped over her shoulders 1.
- Arrival clothing: A crown prince’s python-patterned robe 1.
- Distinguishing features: Her beauty remains apparent despite her masculine clothing 1.
- Bearing: Maintains graceful movements and dignified table manners learned for her imperial disguise 10.
Personality
Qian Renxue is guarded and quick to perceive danger. On arriving in unfamiliar surroundings, she questions the other women’s intentions and initially preserves her identity as Xue Qinghe. Learning that Tang San will defeat her does not make her accept that outcome: she resolves to kill him before he becomes a threat 1 3.
She is fiercely proud of Spirit Hall and protective of her grandfather. Although she angrily objects when Lin Hao calls Qian Daoliu foolish, she privately recognizes the tactical weakness in fighting Tang Chen at close range rather than exploiting aerial superiority. Her loyalty does not entirely prevent her from considering criticism 7.
Her exchanges with Tang Wutong reveal a competitive, mocking streak. She enjoys seeing the younger girl’s claims challenged and frequently retaliates against insults to herself or Spirit Hall. After discovering that Tang Wutong is not yet eleven, however, she questions the point of having become so angry with a child and later considers winning her over 4 21 23.
Her family history also shapes her distrust of romance. She dismisses Tang San’s promises to Xiao Wu as easy words, having never witnessed love between her own parents. Beneath that disdain, she openly admits that she had envied Tang Wutong for having two loving parents 18 26.
Abilities & Skills
Soul Cultivation
- Her established cultivation is at the Soul Emperor level 25.
- She claims that even at level twenty, she could have broken Tang San’s first Soul Skill, Entanglement; this is her assessment rather than a demonstrated fight 16.
- She cannot use Soul Power in the modern world, and the provided chapters show no restoration of it 1 27.
- Tang San’s hidden weapons unsettle her after she watches him injure Zhao Wuji. Despite recognizing that Zhao Wuji was holding back, she wonders whether the twelve-year-old Tang San could defeat her 25.
Infiltration and Court Etiquette
- Impersonated Xue Qinghe during a years-long mission inside the Heaven Dou Imperial Palace 1 2.
- Learned formal etiquette to sustain her crown-prince identity 10.
- Possesses firsthand knowledge of imperial subsidy administration, noble-title policies, and the standards of Heaven Dou Royal Academy 17 20.
Soul Master Knowledge
- Challenges Yu Xiaogang’s reasoning about Tang San’s twin Martial Souls, pointing out that his assessment overlooked the Blue Silver Emperor bloodline 8.
- Argues that a tough, poisonous plant-type Soul Beast would be more suitable for Blue Silver Grass than a Mandala Snake 16.
- Her analysis, together with Lin Hao’s, prompts Tang Ya to reconsider seeking a Mandala Snake for her own Soul Ring 17.
Political and Institutional Analysis
- Defends Spirit Hall’s role in ensuring that imperial funds reach ordinary Soul Masters rather than being lost through noble corruption 17.
- Identifies Shrek Academy’s graduation-to-viscount claim as reliance on an existing Heaven Dou policy, not a special privilege granted by the academy 20.
- Questions Shrek’s claim that its greatest graduate became Spirit Hall’s youngest elder, since she has never heard of such an official despite being Spirit Hall’s young master 23.
Relationships
- Qian Daoliu — Grandfather and her closest family member. She fiercely defends him, while he prioritizes finding a way to bring her home and later questions whether sending her undercover was a mistake 1 6 7 10.
- Bibi Dong — Mother and Pope of Spirit Hall. Their relationship is deeply strained: Qian Renxue rejects comparisons to her and resents her attachment to Yu Xiaogang. Nevertheless, she also becomes angry when Tang Wutong insults Bibi Dong 2 6 8 13 16.
- Lin Hao — Modern-world host and source of information about her world’s recorded story. He exposes her identity, introduces her to modern technology and food, and challenges her views of her family and opponents 1 3 7 10.
- Tang Wutong — Fellow transmigrant and daughter of her foretold enemy. Their frequent arguments gradually acquire a playful element; Qian Renxue finds her entertaining and considers drawing her to her own side 2 21 23.
- Gu Yuena — Fellow transmigrant. They often agree in criticizing Tang San’s upbringing, Yu Xiaogang’s teaching, and Shrek Academy’s conduct 5 8 20.
- Tang San — Future enemy identified by Tang Wutong. Qian Renxue plans to eliminate him upon returning, but his displayed hidden-weapon skills make her reassess his danger 2 3 25.
- Ye Guyi — A later-era Holy Angel Martial Soul bearer who reveres Qian Renxue as her ancestor and rejects the historical portrayal of her as evil 2.
Story Role / Major Arcs
Transmigration and Exposure

Watching Tang San’s Past
- Recognizes Tang San as a potential future threat after seeing his previous-life techniques and resolves to kill him in advance 3.
- Criticizes Tang Hao’s treatment of his son and Yu Xiaogang’s teaching methods, repeatedly clashing with Tang Wutong over their families 5 8 15 16.
- Encounters unfamiliar modern conveniences, including smartphones, online food ordering, bullet comments, and McDonald’s 3 6 9 10.
Defending Spirit Hall and Challenging Shrek
- Uses Tang San’s receipt of Spirit Hall subsidies to challenge the later eras’ condemnation of her faction 17.
- Explains how Spirit Hall’s pressure on the empire supports ordinary Soul Masters, contrasting this with the reduced benefits described by Tang Wutong and Gu Yuena 17.
- Helps examine Shrek Academy’s recruitment claims, graduation requirements, and use of Spirit Hall’s reputation. Her disbelief over its supposed youngest elder contributes to Qian Daoliu’s decision to investigate 20 21 23 24.
Questioning Tang Wutong’s Future
- Learns that Tang Wutong possesses more Martial Souls than she initially disclosed 26.
- Takes Lin Hao’s warning about Tang San sealing his daughter’s memories seriously and suspects that the planned disguise and academy enrollment conceal a larger scheme 26 27.
