Arc 1The New Kingdom

Snyder led the Highborne and other elves away from Kalimdor, raised a new continent, and founded a kingdom around Faledor. As the kingdom grew, Jarod led an expedition to the Eastern Kingdoms and joined the Vrykul in a battle against the Faceless Ones at Tyr's Tomb.

  • Snyder told Dath'Remar that the elven division was inevitable, then gathered Maiev, Elisande, and Prince Tortheldrin to prepare the migration and raise a new continent as their home.
  • Maiev and Prince Tortheldrin thwarted a noble rebellion in Suramar, but an old noble unleashed the Eye of Aman'Thul, which Snyder sealed before using elemental power to raise a continent and open portals to it.
  • Snyder established settlements and began the migration, while Fandral and Elisande found a suitable place for the kingdom’s central city and Faledor’s tree.
  • Snyder persuaded the magic-addicted elves of Shandaral to join his people, and Malygos blessed the seed after Snyder promised to help hunt Deathwing.
  • Snyder founded Faletai'an, Hailidos, and Aikat'er, planted the seed that awakened as Faledor, and later organized the kingdom’s forces and settlements.
  • Snyder learned from Vashj that Azshara and her people had become Naga, then sent Azshara a necklace that purified her curse and restored her former appearance.
  • Jarod led an expedition across the Great Sea, met the Vrykul, and learned that Zakajz’s shadow energy at Tyr's Fall threatened the fading protection left by Tyr.
  • Jarod and Apophis led elves and Vrykul into Tyr's Tomb, where they fought the Faceless Ones and confronted a giant high-ranking enemy.

Arc 2From Zakajz to Arathi

  • Jarod and Apophis’s forces defeated Zakajz, and Jarod escaped the collapsing tomb with Tyr’s Silver Hand and a divine weapon formed from it.
  • Jarod agreed to teach Apophis’s children magic, and the Vrykul established farms, pastures, and a walled city over the following years.

  • Jarod brought Tyr’s remnant to Faledor, and Snyder gave Tyr a wooden body before reforging Nokao’si with the Silver Hand and elemental materials.
  • After twenty years without contact, Apophis met Jarod, then yielded leadership to Leo and Lilith and departed alone for Tyr’s Tomb.
  • After Lilith was killed, Leo’s rule drove the mages and warriors into a devastating conflict, and he eventually charged Lothar with preserving the clan as the Arathi.

  • After Dath'Remar’s Highborne were exiled from Kalimdor, they sailed to the Eastern Kingdoms and reunited with Snyder, who warned that their chosen lands belonged to Forest Trolls.
  • Dath'Remar began showing signs of Zakajz’s possession, and Snyder and Jarod learned that the Silver Blade’s purifying light could drive out the black energy at the cost of part of Dath'Remar’s will.
  • Dath'Remar organized the Highborne migration toward the Troll lands, while Shadra united the Forest Troll clans and secured the aid of four Amani Loa.
  • Shadra rejected Bandersson Viletooth’s proposal to control rival chieftains with voodoo, and Kaostin devised a plan to attack the elves and weaken competing clans.
  • Kaostin’s forces attacked the Highborne camp, and Shadow Hunters destroyed supplies with incendiary compounds as Snyder brought reinforcements and forced the Trolls to retreat.
  • The Forest Trolls attacked again, and Kaostin fought Daren Theron until the Hand of the Bright Moon turned the battle against the Trolls.

  • The Hand of the Bright Moon captain lured Amani war bear riders into an encirclement, while Shadra fought the captain and Daren Theron battled Bandersson and the Dragonhawk Loa priest.
