Shen Ge traveled through the Outer Sea, recovered from repeated battles, and became entangled in the conflict surrounding the Source of the Deep Sea and a Demon Beast tide. As the Yaoguang Immortal Sect faced danger from the sea and the Dead Sea boat headed toward it, Shen Ge remained badly injured after fighting at the East Sea Gate.

• Shen Ge escaped his pursuers, used a teleportation formation to reach the Outer Sea, and survived the Dragon Palace secret realm before recovering in seclusion.
• Shen Ge returned to Yaoguang Island, repaired Fairy Miaoyin’s guqin, took Zhang Fengge as his third disciple, and regained resolve after hearing her play.
• Han Yu advanced to the Wolf Smoke Realm and sent Wan Feng and other pioneers to confront Rogue Cultivators who had robbed Phoenix Kingdom’s resources.
• Shen Ge fled Venerable Tianquan at the Abyssal Whirlpool, while Fairy Miaoyin and Zhang Lingyu continued toward the Source of the Deep Sea and Venerable Yaoguang later fought Venerable Tianquan over it.

The Demon Beast war ended as Shen Ge survived a Heart Devil Tribulation and learned that the Primordial Secret Realm was opening. He explored its depths, found a medicine garden and freed its Pixiu guardian, then returned to Yaoguang Island and reunited with his friends.

• The Eagle King killed Tianxing and fled with Blood Shark as the Star Chart’s attack pursued them, while Shen Ge warned survivors away from Bai Yu’s destructive strike.
• The Demon Beast war spread across the seas: Venerable Tianji fell, Venerable Tianshu fought the serpents, and the human cultivators drove off the wounded Eagle King and Blood Shark King.
• After the battle, Su Sui worried about Shen Ge, who emerged from seclusion and urged Zhang Fengge to return only after she had reached Golden Core.
• Shen Ge learned about his origins and the coming Primordial Secret Realm, then suffered a Heart Devil Tribulation over Mu Wan before Miaoyin’s music helped him recognize and defeat it.
• The Spirit Moon Sect split over whether to leave for the Heavenly Desolation Domain, while more than six hundred cultivators crossed into a new world and the Phoenix Kingdom expanded through war.
• Shen Ge entered the Primordial Secret Realm alone, gathered resources, and lost a five-thousand-year-old Dragon Ginseng to a mysterious black shadow before deciding to investigate the dangerous Wood King Fruit.
• The black Pixiu shoved Shen Ge into the mist and asked for help breaking a medicine garden’s formation, and Shen Ge opened it, gathered spirit medicines, and freed the Pixiu from their Master-Servant Scroll.
• A thunderous force expelled Shen Ge from the secret realm, and he returned to Yaoguang Island, where Zhang Fengge revealed she had reached Golden Core and Miaoyin joined their gathering.

Shen Ge reunited with Su Liuyue, left the Heavenly South with his companions, and began establishing themselves in the Ancient Wilderness. Li Yuxin took Su Liuyue and Wang Yan away, leaving Shen Ge and Mo Qingyu determined to rescue them as the Myriad Stars Sect faced difficulties elsewhere.

• Shen Ge reunited with Su Liuyue, learned that Martial Uncle Fenghuo had become an evil aberration, and arranged for the sect leaders to reach the Heavenly Desolation Domain before leaving the Heavenly South with his companions.
• Shen Ge returned to the Spirit Moon Sect and, after fifty years in seclusion, broke through to Nascent Soul while surviving a devastating lightning tribulation.
• Shen Ge taught his companions adapted techniques from the Samsara Method, then prepared to leave with them as Su Liuyue also reached Nascent Soul.
• Shen Ge and his companions crossed the Ice and Snow Plateau and settled near Thousand Hills Town, where they learned about the Ancient Wilderness and planned to gather resources as Rogue Cultivators.
• After settling at Azure Moon Mountain, Shen Ge escaped Li Yuxin and survived an ambush by Devil Cultivators, then returned to face Li Yuxin when she came to question his group.
• Li Yuxin offered Shen Ge’s companions a choice between following her and returning to her sect, and Su Liuyue and Wang Yan agreed to go with her.

Shen Ge entered Demonic Sword Valley, turned a captured evil demon against his enemies, and survived its pursuit with Luo Lan's intervention. After the Spirit Moon Sect dispersed over Wang Yan's death, he accepted a Thunderfire Secret Realm task from Bai Wushuang and fought robbers after collecting his payment for Luan Bird blood.

• Shen Ge and Su Sui captured a sealed evil demon after defeating Xie Fan and Bai Yu, then traveled to Demonic Sword Valley.
• Su Liuyue told Shen Ge and Su Sui that Wang Yan had died and blamed Wang Jing.
• Shen Ge led the recovering evil demon into Wang Jing and Junior Sister Xue's formation, where Wang Jing revealed that the Life and Death Art would let Venerable Reincarnation replace its practitioners.
• Shen Ge seized an azure flying sword, escaped Junior Sister Xue and Aosi, and survived when Luo Lan destroyed Aosi before he could capture him.

• Shen Ge defeated Li Qing, learned Bai Wushuang's identity, and delivered the Luan Bird blood to Kong Yan for Spirit Stones and black rock iron.
• Shen Ge trapped several robbers after leaving Lifeng City, killed Second Brother, badly wounded the eldest brother, and sent Third Brother fleeing.
