Training Phrolova (Part 1)
"How is it? Handsome or not?"
Kexi turned her head, raised an eyebrow at Selina, and her face screamed "Praise me!"
"Young master is so handsome!" Selina exclaimed in perfect unison.
"That's right." Kexi flicked her hair, looking refreshed and completely forgetting that she had been chased all over the street by a group of women not long ago.
He pointed in Phrolova's direction, his voice carrying the imperious air of a young master. "Take her back to me."
Selina stepped forward and pulled Phrolova up from the ground.
The Resonance Suppressor on Phrolova's body imprisoned her power, but her back remained straight and her chin did not droop even slightly.
Her gaze was fixed coldly on Kexi, like two knives just pulled from icy water.
"What are you looking at? Haven't you ever seen a handsome guy before?" Kexi looked back, her tone so sassy it made you want to grind your teeth.
Phrolova gave a soft snort and turned her face away.
"What are you humming about? Why are you putting on such a sour face?" Kexi walked up to her, looking down at her. "You'll have plenty of time to hum tonight."
Phrolova didn't even glance at him.
Selina nudged her shoulder and pulled her forward.
She took out her special weapon and gently pulled it, creating a vortex in front of them.
Kexi followed beside her, and together they stepped out of the alternate dimension.
The familiar street scene of Ragunna appeared before my eyes, and the air once again smelled of the sea breeze.
They were on their way back to the Montelli Manor.
Kexi remained vigilant, fearing that another woman with a letter might suddenly appear from any direction.
Fortunately, fate was on his side this time, and he didn't encounter any pursuers until the manor gates came into view. He breathed a long sigh of relief.
But as soon as he exhaled, new worries crept up the back of his head.
Tomorrow is my birthday party, and all those women will be there.
Jinhsi, Changli, Cantarella, Suisui, Yangyang, Augusta, Juno, Lupa, Lynae, Sigrika, and it's still unknown whether anyone else will appear.
Just by counting, there's enough for three mahjong tables with some to spare.
If he doesn't get an explanation by tomorrow, he'll probably be chopped into mincemeat, and even the dogs in Montelli won't be able to piece his body back together.
He hasn't collected all seven Dragon Balls yet to summon the Gundam.
The task progress is stuck at 10 out of 12, and I don't know where to find the remaining two.
He'd be easy to fight at a banquet, and he wasn't afraid of talking, but he'd most likely be hacked to pieces by these women.
He weighed the options in his mind and decided to lay low for the time being.
Pretend to be sick. Yes, pretend to be sick. Just say you fell into the water last night and caught a cold, so you can't get out of bed. The reason may be old-fashioned, but it will work.
As long as he could keep Carlotta in the dark, everything would be fine, and the more he thought about it, the more confident he became.
If he could just delay a little longer, he could find a way to lie again... and sincerely communicate with the two girls to achieve a friendly exchange.
At that time, he will be afraid of nothing.
Back at the manor, Kexi handed Phrolova to Selina, then waved her hand. "Take her away and teach her how to be a proper maid. I'll come back to check on her in a bit. I have some things to do. Also, I'm hungry, remember to prepare some food for me."
After saying that, he walked away without looking back.
Selina watched his retreating figure and sighed softly.
She turned her head and looked at Phrolova. Phrolova was also looking at her. Their eyes met briefly in mid-air.
"I don't know what kind of spell you cast on the young master," Selina's voice turned cold, each word carrying the weight of a warning, "I'm warning you, don't try to hurt him. Otherwise, I will not let you off the hook, no matter where you are in the world."
Phrolova looked at her, his expression unchanged.
Two seconds later, she casually remarked, "You like him."
Although it was posed as a question.
But his tone was one of certainty.
Selina's breath hitched. Her fingers tightened slightly. She didn't reply, but instead increased the force of her push and walked forward.
Selina led Phrolova through the corridor to the side hall where the servants usually worked.
A girl dressed as a maid walked towards us, her hair tied in two pigtails, with a well-trained and obedient smile on her face.
Selina called out to her, "Luna, Lucia here?"
"My sister went to Everard Bank. Miss Selina, is there anything you need? You can tell me, it's the same thing." Luna blinked, her voice sweet and crisp.
"The young master instructed her to learn how to be a proper maid. He's coming to inspect later, and she also needs to prepare lunch for him. Thank you for your help."
Luna's eyes lit up immediately. "Oh, training new talent! I love training new talent the most!"
Her gaze shifted to Phrolova, a hint of probing in her smile, "What's your name?"
Selina lowered her voice. "She's not a newcomer; she's a dangerous individual. She was captured by the young master after her assassination attempt failed."
Luna's smile remained unchanged, but the light in her eyes instantly shifted. That light made Phrolova squint slightly.
"Oh? You mean we don't have to treat her like a human being?" Luna tilted her head, her tone still sweet.
Selina didn't answer, which was taken as tacit agreement.
Luna clapped her hands, her smile widening. "That's fantastic!"
"I'm going to find the young master. Thank you for your help."
"No trouble at all! No trouble at all! Hehe."
After watching Selina leave, Luna turned her gaze to Phrolova.
Luna circled around Phrolova, her gaze sweeping from her hair to the tips of her shoes, and then back to her face.
The way he was scrutinizing her, as if she were looking at some novel toy, made Phrolova's brows furrow even more tightly.
"Take off your clothes," Luna said.
Phrolova's eyes instantly turned as cold as if he wanted to kill.
"Oh, glaring at me now." Luna laughed, a smile so sweet it was almost harmless. "I love people like you with a temper. They're more fun to tame."
She pulled out a feather duster from somewhere, weighed it in her hand, and then used the tail of the duster to lift Phrolova's chin.
"The first rule for being a maid in Montelli is to do whatever your master says. If your master tells you to take your clothes off, you take them off. If your master tells you to kneel, you kneel. If your master tells you to laugh, the corners of your mouth are not allowed to turn down. Understand?"
Phrolova turned his face away and squeezed out two words through gritted teeth. "Dream on."
Luna laughed even harder; she loved tough guys.
She went around behind Phrolova, patting the feather duster slowly in her own hand, a rhythm that carried a kind of leisurely ease that sent chills down your spine.
"Miss Selina said you were arrested because you failed in your assassination attempt on the young master. You must be quite capable, right?"
She paused, then suddenly pressed the feather duster against Phrolova's lower back.
"But it doesn't matter. Once you're in my hands, if you're a dragon, you'll have to coil up; if you're a tiger, you'll have to crouch; and if you're a tough nut to crack, I can stew you into soup."
Phrolova's body tensed up. The Resonance Suppressor had completely drained her power, and now she was no different from an ordinary person.
Luna was clearly aware of this, and her movements became increasingly audacious, the feather duster sliding up her back and down to the back of her neck.
"Your skin is quite nice," Luna commented, her tone as if she were evaluating the fabric of a piece of cloth. "It's just that expression is too grumpy. Come on, give me a smile first."
Phrolova remained still.
Luna wasn't in a hurry.
She walked to the wall, took a whole maid outfit off the shelf, stuffed it into Phrolova's arms, then took two steps back and put her hands on her hips.
"I'll give you two choices. One, change it yourself. Two, I'll change it for you. I'm strong, so don't cry if I tear anything."
Phrolova glanced down at the maid outfit in her arms. Black and white, lace trim, a short skirt, and white knee-high socks. Her temple twitched.
I choose three.
Luna blinked. "Oh, you can even bargain. What's three?"
Phrolova didn't say anything, just threw the clothes on the ground and kicked them.
