You Want a Harem?
at this time.
The Septimont and Three Wild Men happened to chase after them and witnessed this scene.
Augusta froze in place, Juno's mouth formed a perfect "O" shape, Lupa's fingers stopped in mid-air, and she seemed to have been paused.
Immediately afterwards, even more people poured out of the hall entrance.
Jinhsi, Changli, Cantarella, Suisui, Lynae, Sigrika, Mornye, Phoebe, and seven maids from the Pleiades.
Almost everyone was frozen in place at the same time.
Well, that bastard, he's messed with another one.
[Ding, Resonance Synchronization -- Cioccolata.]
[Task 2 Progress Update: 11/12.]
Cioccolata felt a wet touch on her collarbone. Startled, she opened her eyes and found a large group of people standing in front of her, all staring intently at her and Kexi.
Her face instantly turned from its normal skin tone to a tomato red, and she abruptly pushed Kexi away, taking two steps back.
"You... you... it's not what you think!" Cioccolata hurriedly straightened his collar, his voice trembling.
"Don't speak yet." Augusta finally came to his senses, his gaze shifting from Cioccolata's face to Kexi's, his eyes seeming to want to skin him alive. "Kexi, is it true that Jinhsi said you slept with Sanhua?"
"Ah, this..." Kexi was embarrassed. How did these women catch up with us so quickly? And how could Jinhsi have told others about something like this? Is this something you should tell others?
"Answer me!" Augusta took a step forward.
Kexi looked at the dozen or so faces in front of her, then turned to look at Cioccolata's still-red face.
He took a deep breath.
There was no way to escape. Selina was trapped behind them, and the Pleiades were still inside the hall, surrounded by people on all sides.
Since death is inevitable anyway, might as well die gracefully.
Please, ancestral master, possess me!!!
"Yes." Kexi nodded.
"You have to give each of us an explanation today!" Juno jumped out, his finger almost poking the tip of his nose.
Kexi looked at her and suddenly sighed.
That sigh was deep and long, as if squeezed out from the bottom of his chest, carrying a weariness of being misunderstood by the whole world.
"Juno." He called her name, his voice turning serious. "You all think I'm a jerk, right? You think I fall in love with every girl I meet, that I'm a liar, that I've never been sincere."
Juno's hand paused.
"But have you ever considered that my heart is made of flesh and blood too?"
Kexi raised her hand and pressed it to her chest, her expression so sorrowful it was as if she were making the Final Confession.
My heart has long been shattered into countless pieces. Each piece was given to one of you. Each of you holds a piece of my heart in your hand.
The air fell silent for a moment.
"You already have one, isn't that enough?"
His voice trembled slightly, just enough to be felt.
"Do you know how much courage it takes for a person to share their heart with so many people in their lifetime? Every time I write a letter, it's like cutting a piece of my own flesh. It hurts, but I do it willingly."
The entire room fell silent.
Lupa was the first to react, her eyebrows slowly rising. "So you admit it? You really have your heart divided among so many people?"
"What else?" Kexi spread her hands, her expression utterly innocent. "Do you expect me to give my whole heart to just one person? What about the others? Can you bear to see them heartbroken?"
"You—" Lupa was stunned for half a second by his words.
"And think about it."
Kexi pressed her advantage, speaking faster and faster, "If my heart didn't shatter into many pieces, how could each of you receive a personalized letter? And the words would all be different, right?"
The things I write in each of my letters are unique. What does that mean? It means that each of you truly holds a place in my heart.
Jinhsi's fingers gripped the knife hilt tightly, but her expression softened slightly.
"You mean, you're serious about each and every one of us?" Changli's voice was flat, but there was a hint of wavering in the last syllable.
"Of course I'm serious!"
Kexi pressed her hand to her chest, her expression so sincere it looked like she was about to die. "Sister Changli, those words in your letter were written after I spent the whole night chewing on my pen."
Jinhsi, every letter I wrote to you when you were little was like a will I wrote.
Augusta, Juno, Lupa —as I wrote this letter to the three of you, all I could think about were you shining brightly in the arena.
"Suisui, Yangyang, I can tell the difference between your letters clearly."
Lynae, Sigrika, you two are so student-like that I didn't dare use any overly mushy words when I was writing this.
Mornye, you are the one I struggle the most to write to, because I know you are too smart, and I'm afraid you'll see through me.
Phoebe, I still can't forget the way you looked in that nun's habit.
He spoke at length, until his throat was dry, and with such sincerity that everyone's expression changed from "I'm going to kill you" to "He seems genuinely troubled."
Cantarella was the first to laugh out loud.
She covered her mouth, her shoulders were shaking, and tears were welling up in her eyes.
"Kexi, you're truly a genius." She wiped her eyes. "If I were twenty years younger, I might actually believe what you just said."
"Everything I said is true!"
"Let's put that aside for now." Augusta finally recovered from her shock, her fists clenching again. "What you've really said is that you want to possess all of us by yourself, right?"
Kexi's smile froze.
"You want to build a harem?" Juno's murderous intent returned.
"You want so many of us to share one husband?" Lupa brandished her weapon.
"You wish!" Suisui snapped her fan shut.
"Cut him down!" Lynae and Sigrika shouted at the same time.
"Wait! Let me finish!" Kexi took a step back, her back pressed against the wall of the corridor.
"There's nothing more to say!" Jinhsi drew her Ages of Harvest again.
"Kexi, you must die today!" He Yilu's Changli Blazing Brilliance ignited.
More than a dozen people closed in at the same time.
Kexi turned and shouted towards the auditorium, "The Sai Pleiades! Help me!!!"
A series of hurried footsteps echoed in the auditorium.
Selina and Luna rushed out with six maids, standing between Kexi and the group of women, with Luna at the front.
"Protect the young master!" Luna spread her arms wide.
"Get out of the way!" Augusta's fist was already raised.
"No way!" Luna held her head high, refusing to budge an inch.
Taking advantage of the opening, Kexi turned and ran.
He sprinted towards the other end of the corridor, stopping less than ten steps later.
At the end of the corridor, two figures hovered in mid-air. Changli stepped on Blazing Brilliance, while Jinhsi stepped on Ages of Harvest. The sword light intertwined to form an impenetrable net, completely blocking their path.
He turned to look at the side door, where Lynae and Sigrika were blocking the doorway on either side.
Turning around again, Mornye and Phoebe were standing at the back.
Even Cioccolata was stuck at a fork in the road, her face still flushed.
It's completely blocked.
"Damn it!" Kexi cursed, spinning around in place like a rabbit being hunted.
Just when he was about to despair, a tall maid squeezed out from the gap in the crowd.
With Scar, high-pitched voice, he cried out, "Young Master! Run back!"
Kexi looked around and saw that the road he had come from was deserted. His eyes lit up, and he turned around and rushed back towards the hall, his feet moving as fast as if he were riding on wheels of fire.
"Don't run!" came a dozen voices from behind.
More than a dozen people chased after them at the same time.
The Pleiades tried to stop them, but Augusta killed them all with a single punch, thankfully Selina intervened.
Jinhsi and Changli completely ignored them, took off on their swords, and flew away.
Seeing them soar into the sky, Lynae grabbed Sigrika with one hand and shouted, pointing in their direction as if she had discovered some world-shaking news. She exclaimed excitedly, "Sigrika! Did you see that?!?"
"What do you see?" Sigrika was being shaken around by Lynae, completely bewildered, and her head was spinning.
Lynae continued shaking her excitedly, as if she had discovered aliens. "The Huanglong people can fly!! The Huanglong people can fly!!"
Kexi rushed back to the auditorium, while Carlotta was still standing there in a daze.
"You—why are you back again?" Carlotta watched her brother rush past her, and then saw a huge group of people following behind him. Her expression completely cracked.
Kexi ignored her and plunged into the depths of the hall.
Jinhsi and Changli flew past her with a "whoosh".
They stopped him in the blink of an eye.
