Kexi was cursing loudly in Christopher's script space.

"Christopher! You fucking get out here! If you've got the guts, fight me head-on! What kind of skill is it to hide in the shadows and ambush me!"

A soft laugh drifted through the air.

Christopher's voice drifted in from all directions.

"Young Master Kexi, I had no choice. The chairman gave the order, and I had to obey."

"The president of the Fractsidus? Do I even know him? Why are you targeting me?"

"You really don't know?" Christopher's voice held a hint of amusement.

Should I know?

"Hehe, then I don't need to tell you."

A vein bulged on Kexi's forehead.

What he hates most are these charlatans who pretend to be mysterious and use riddles. They'd rather die than just speak their minds; they have to treat people like monkeys.

"Fine, fine, you won't talk, huh? Do you think I'm still the same person I was a few days ago?" Kexi roared, raising her hands sharply, "Floral Soul Blossoming!"

Suddenly, countless vines sprouted from the ground in the gray-white space.

Huge flowers bloomed at the top of the vines, their petals spread wide, each one like a man-eating flower with its mouth agape, tearing towards the direction from which Christopher's voice came.

In an instant, waves of flowers surged, and the entire space trembled.

Christopher was also forced to reveal himself by this move, and a semi-transparent barrier rose up in front of him.

The petal struck but failed to penetrate.

He looked at the flowers through the barrier and nodded.

"Young Master Kexi, you have truly impressed me. This must be due to Ms. Chun's abilities; she has actually managed to get things done for you."

"There's even more to come!" Kexi gritted her teeth, raised her hand and pressed forward, shouting, "Heavenly Abode's Courtyard Light!"

A dragon's shadow rose from behind him, its claws outstretched, its mouth wide open, and a burst of blazing white light shot out.

The white light struck the barrier, instantly cracking it with spiderweb-like patterns before shattering it into countless specks of light with a snap.

Christopher's expression finally changed.

The dragon's breath swallowed his figure.

"Hmph, serves you right for showing off!" Kexi clapped her hands and sneered.

At this moment.

Applause came from behind me.

"Not bad, not bad."

Kexi suddenly turned around.

Christopher stood three meters behind him, completely unharmed.

He adjusted his mask, a smile playing on his lips, his eyes full of curiosity.

"Young Master Kexi, you can actually use the power of the Prefect of Jinzhou. I'm quite curious about that. What exactly is your Resonance Ability?"

Seeing that he was completely unharmed, Kexi cursed angrily, "You bastard, you can really run. Want to know? I'll tell you when you go to hell."

He raised his hand and unleashed another beam of Heavenly Abode's Courtyard Light.

A white light pierced through the space once more, tearing Christopher's figure into pieces, which then slowly coalesced back together.

He retreated to a more distant place, and his voice became ethereal.

"Young Master Kexi, enjoy the performance I've arranged for you."

He didn't show up this time.

"What a load of bull! Watch me tear your script to shreds!" Kexi scoffed, then launched into a furious attack.

One Heavenly Abode's Courtyard Light, and dragon shadows flashed behind him continuously, the white light tearing open one gap after another in the gray space.

With each layer shattered, a new world unfolds behind it.

This scripted world is like an onion, you peel back layer after layer.

"Damn it, how many more are there?!"

He blasted through one after another, never stopping.

Outside.

The Changli and the Scar remain at an impasse.

The two exchanged dozens of blows, neither gaining the upper hand.

"Your skills don't seem like those of someone from Montelli." Changli looked at the maid's Scar, a hint of inquiry in his eyes. "Who exactly are you?"

The Scar woman grinned, revealing two rows of white teeth, and still spoke in a soft, affected voice, "Thank you for the compliment, Changli. I am just an ordinary maid."

At this moment.

The terminal behind him beeped three times.

It was Christopher's signal.

He knew he had succeeded.

The Scar's smile vanished instantly. He took a half-step back, making way for him. "This much time should be enough for the young master to run far. If Changli wishes to pursue him, please do so."

Changli looked at him suspiciously.

This person was just desperately trying to stop her, but now they're suddenly letting her go; it's very unusual.

But she didn't have time to think about it.

Jinhsi had already chased after her; she didn't have time to waste with this maid.

She glanced indifferently at the Scar, then turned and chased after Kexi in the direction she had disappeared.

The Scar stood there, watching Changli's figure disappear into the dust, the smile on his lips slowly fading away.

Then he slipped into the shadows.

His scenes are over; now it's Kexi's turn.

The plan went perfectly.

At this moment, the group of women also caught up.

Luna, with the Pleiades, stood across the middle of the corridor, while Selina stood at the very front, her flute and sword drawn.

Augusta slammed his fist against the wall, while Juno cursed and swore beside him.

"Get out of the way!" Augusta roared.

"No way!" Selina refused to budge. "None of you can get past."

"Do you think you can stop so many of us?" Lupa squinted.

Selina did not answer, but simply held the flute-sword horizontally in front of her.

The Pleiades behind her had also formed a battle array.

On the other side, fake Kexi looked at Jinhsi lying on the ground.

Blood gushed from the wound on her back, spreading a dark red stain on the floor.

Her eyes were still open, but her pupils had begun to dilate.

He crouched down, grabbed her chin, lifted her face, dipped his other hand in the blood on the ground, and smeared it on Jinhsi's face.

One.

Two.

Three.

Bloodstains crisscrossed her face, making her unfocused eyes appear even more empty.

"Jinhsi," the fake Kexi pinched her chin, lifting her head to face him, her voice so gentle it sent chills down your spine, "You're even more beautiful now."

Jinhsi's fingers gripped the ground slightly, her lips moved, but she managed to squeeze out only a faint whisper.

"You..."

Changli had just caught up when he saw this scene.

Jinhsi lay on the ground with a knife stuck in her back, covered in blood. Kexi was squatting in front of her, lifting her chin with a sinister smile, saying something to her, and smearing blood on her face.

Her face instantly turned pale and she screamed, "What did you do?!"

The Blazing Brilliance out of her hand with a "whoosh" and stabbed towards the fake Kexi.

When the fake Kexi saw that people were coming, he immediately let go of Jinhsi and ran away.

Changli landed in front of Jinhsi, and seeing her lying in a pool of blood, his heart ached.

"Jinhsi! Jinhsi!"

She knelt down, slowly pulled Jinhsi into her arms, and desperately called out to her.

Jinhsi could no longer hear her calls; she had fainted from blood loss, and a scoundrel was constantly pulling at her strength.

The Pleiades ultimately couldn't stop everyone.

Lynae, Sigrika, Yangyang, Sanhua slipped out during the chaos and immediately spotted Changli carrying Jinhsi, who was lying in a pool of blood.

Yangyang and Sanhua's expressions changed drastically at the same time, and they exclaimed in surprise.

"The Prime Minister!!!"

Lynae and Sigrika also gasped in surprise.

After exclaiming in shock, Lynae looked at Jinhsi in disbelief and said first, "Wow!! You guys are too ruthless! For a scumbag, you actually turned against each other, master and disciple? That's terrifying!"

"What happened to the Prime Minister?" Sanhua squatted down in front of Changli, her hand trembling as she reached out to touch Jinhsi, her eyes filled with disbelief. Her Prime Minister had actually been assassinated; this was her dereliction of duty.

Changli's expression grew increasingly grim. She uttered a few words, her tone clearly suppressing anger. "It was Kexi who did it."

"What?!"

Sanhua and Yangyang exclaimed in disbelief upon hearing the news.

Even Lynae and Sigrika couldn't believe it.

"No way, that bastard, even the biggest bastard wouldn't do something like this, right?"

Changli didn't say anything more, handed Jinhsi to Sanhua, and stood up.

"Changli, where are you going?" Yangyang asked eagerly.

Changli didn't look at her, and simply said, "I'm going to catch him."

Before the words were even finished, the person had already been sent flying.

Seeing the magistrate's appalling state, Sanhua couldn't bear it and turned her head away. She pulled out her terminal and shouted fiercely, "Baizhi, come quick! Something's happened to the magistrate!"
