Kexi Sets Sail
Kexi had just torn herself out of Christopher's script space, collapsing to the ground covered in sweat, gasping for air.
The gray space behind him shattered into countless specks of light, finally dissipating completely.
Before he could even feel relieved, another person appeared in front of him.
Kexi looked up.
This person looks exactly like him.
The fake Kexi stood three meters away, hands in his pockets, looking at him with a wicked smile.
Kexi recognized him at a glance; it was the guy from the script world earlier.
"You son of a bitch—" Kexi had only managed to utter three words when he finally managed to curse.
The fake Kexi transformed into a flock of origami cranes, fluttering into the sky and disappearing completely in the blink of an eye.
Kexi stared in disbelief.
He reached out and grabbed at it, but only caught a piece of falling paper.
The scraps of paper turned to ash in his palm.
"What the hell...?" Kexi hadn't even had time to figure out what was going on.
A sharp whooshing sound came from behind.
Kexi instinctively rolled to the side, Blazing Brilliance grazed his shoulder and struck the ground, shattering the bricks.
Changli fell from mid-air, his sword flashing as he pressed towards him again.
"Sister Changli, what are you doing!" Kexi dodged the second sword in a sorry state.
"You hurt Jinhsi, and you think you can run away?!" Changli's voice was as cold as ice, and flames surged on the blade of his sword. "You can't escape."
Kexi shouted as she dodged, "I hurt Jinhsi? When did I hurt her? It was just a little lie, is it really necessary to cut me?"
Changli ignored him and swung his sword down for the third time. Kexi used the power of Chun to summon vines to barely block it, but was still thrown back by the impact.
He could tell that Changli was serious this time.
Every sword strike was aimed at his vital points, leaving no room for error.
"I didn't hurt her! I didn't even touch her!"
"Okay, I touched her, but that was hugging her. Does hugging him also count as harm?"
Changli's gaze grew even colder. "You're still trying to deny it."
"What am I trying to argue about!" Kexi retorted angrily, vines sprouting from the ground to barely parry Changli's sword. "Explain yourself clearly."
Changli cleaved all the vines in two with a single sword strike, the tip of the sword pressed against Kexi's chest.
Her eyes were filled with barely suppressed rage and grief, and she forced each word out through clenched teeth. "You killed Jinhsi!"
Kexi's mind went blank with a "buzz".
"What?"
"You stabbed her in the back with a knife, I saw it with my own eyes, how do you think you can deny it now?"
Kexi's mouth dropped open, feeling as if she had been doused with a bucket of cold water from head to toe.
"What the hell?! How could I possibly do such a thing?! This is slander! You're slandering me!"
"You're too scared to admit it, huh? Fine—"
Changli grabbed his wrist.
"Walk."
She took Kexi and flew away on her sword.
Not long after.
The two landed.
Baizhi was already kneeling beside Jinhsi.
She placed her hands on Jinhsi's wound, and the Resonance Energy transformed into fine threads that seeped into the wound, stopping most of the bleeding.
Sanhua knelt beside her, holding Jinhsi's hand in one hand and gripping the hilt of her sword tightly in the other.
Yangyang squatted beside Sanhua, tears falling silently down her face.
Jinhsi lay on the ground, her face deathly pale.
The bloodstains on her face had been wiped away, but the bloodstains on her chest remained.
Her eyes were tightly closed, and her breathing was so faint that it was impossible to tell.
When Kexi saw this, she felt like she was ascending to heaven.
His gaze moved from Jinhsi's pale face to the pool of dark red blood on the ground, and then from the pool of blood to Changli's face.
Her expression was calm, but Kexi could deeply sense the suppressed anger beneath that calm.
"You saw it? What else do you have to say?" Changli questioned him.
Kexi opened her mouth, feeling as if something was stuffed inside.
He suddenly remembered the sinister smile the fake Kexi had given him before he disappeared, the flock of origami cranes, and Christopher's words, "Enjoy the show I've arranged for you."
All the fragments were rapidly piecing together in his mind.
He finally realized it.
He was framed.
"It wasn't me! That person wasn't me!" he roared, trembling. "That person was an imposter created by Christopher. He impersonated me to kill Jinhsi! He just wanted to frame me!"
He guessed correctly.
Christopher's whole charade was aimed at him.
Kill Jinhsi and frame him.
Let Changli see it, let everyone see it.
He was left speechless.
"The person you saw wasn't me." He turned to look at Changli. "It really wasn't me."
Changli ignored him, his gaze fixed on his face as if judging whether he was lying.
I heard his voice.
Lost in grief and self-reproach, Sanhua suddenly looked up and saw Kexi standing there.
Her eyes shifted from grief to anger, and she abruptly stood up, grabbing Kexi by the collar.
"What did you do to Ling Yin?!" Her voice trembled with anger, emanating a chilling aura, and her Resonance Ability was almost out of control.
"It wasn't me," Kexi repeated innocently, "Sanhua, it really wasn't me."
"That's fake! It's a fake made by Christopher! He impersonated me to kill Jinhsi, just to frame me!"
Kexi grabbed Sanhua's wrist, not pulling away, but squeezing it tightly. "Think about it, why would I kill her? What reason would I have to kill her?"
Sanhua's fist, which she had just raised, stopped in mid-air.
Her reason and anger were battling, and she was like a taut string.
At this moment, Baizhi spoke up.
"The magistrate's wound has been treated. The knife entered from behind, piercing through his lung and narrowly missing his heart by two centimeters."
Sanhua went completely insane after hearing that.
She didn't care about whether it was counterfeit or not; all she saw Jinhsi lying in a pool of blood, just two centimeters away from being pierced through the heart and dying.
Enraged, she raised her knife and slashed at Kexi.
Sweating profusely, Kexi dodged to the side, and Sanhua's sword slashed at the ground, sending shards of stone flying.
She raised the knife a second time, her eyes frighteningly red.
Changli frowned and waved his hand.
Blazing Brilliance released his hand and entangled Sanhua's knife.
"Sanhua, calm down," Changli's deep voice rang out.
"I can't calm down!" Sanhua roared, "The Prime Minister almost died! It was him! It was him!"
Kexi stood a few steps away, looking at Sanhua's bloodshot eyes.
He knew that nothing he said now would make a difference.
To avoid being hacked to pieces, he has no choice but to run away first and then find an opportunity to prove his innocence later.
Kexi took a deep breath.
He raised his hand, and golden light gathered from his fingertips.
The power of time surged from his body, spreading outwards like ripples.
Changli's pupils contracted; she recognized this power.
This is Jinhsi's power.
"You—" Changli had barely uttered a single word when he froze.
Sanhua was also frozen in place.
Everyone was frozen in place.
Even the dust particles dancing in the air were frozen in place.
Kexi came up to her, looked at her, and her lips moved.
"I'm sorry, Sister Changli."
Then he lowered his head and pressed his lips to the Tacet Mark her chest.

[Rewards being distributed: Suizhe Armament]
Before Kexi could retreat, time resumed.
Changli saw Kexi suddenly appear on her face, still buried in her chest, her face immediately turned to astonishment, and then to anger.
At this moment, Augusta Juno finally caught up.
Cantarella followed at the back and immediately spotted the ambiguous distance between Changli and Kexi, as well as the Changli tips of Changli's ears.
She raised an eyebrow, a playful smile curving her lips.
"Oh," Cantarella's voice was sweet and soft, "Changli, what's wrong with you?"
Augusta, Juno, Lupa... when they saw Kexi burying her face in Changli's chest, what she was doing was self-evident.
"Fine, so you really think we don't exist, huh?"
Juno was already laughing in anger. He hadn't even had a chance to settle accounts with Cioccolata and the others yet, and now he was getting involved with Changli too.
Without a word, she took out the Moon Wheel, drew the Moon Bow, pulled it to its full draw, and a single arrow materialized, aimed at Kexi.
Lupa also picked up her spear, ready to throw it like a javelin.
Seeing how they all wanted to kill Kexi, Suisui finally couldn't help but laugh. She secretly took out two palm bombs.
He tossed it over casually.
Anyway, the scene was so chaotic, who would know it was her who did it, hehe.
Go to hell, Yangyang! Yangyang, don't blame me, I did all this for you.
Changli finally reacted, pushed Kexi away, picked up Blazing Brilliance and slashed at him, vowing to tear this guy who had tainted her purity to pieces.
Freed from the constraints of time, Sanhua's gaze refocused on Kexi, and she slashed at him with a Great Crimson Lotus.
When Carlotta ran over and saw this scene, she was completely stunned.
"What are you doing! Stop! This is my brother! Nobody is allowed to touch him!"
The Pleiades arrived late, and upon seeing this scene, they were all terrified.
Carlotta then ordered them, "What are you all standing there for? Stop them!"
However, it was too late.
More than a dozen attacks were hurled at Kexi.
Kexi stood in the very center of the attack, with no way to avoid it.
A bitter smile appeared on his lips.
He raised his hand, palm facing up, and softly uttered four words.
"Threnodian Armament!"
In an instant.
The ground cracked.
A massive, entirely red mech shot into the sky from the crack and swallowed Kexi whole.
All the attacks clanged and clattered against the mech's outer shell, without even chipping off the paint.
Inside the mecha, Kexi had no time to marvel. He looked down at the group of dumbfounded women, then glanced at Carlotta, whose face was ashen.
His voice came from inside the mech.
"Changli, Sanhua. I've said it, I didn't do it. Please calm down."
"Second sister! I will prove my innocence. Wait for me to come back."
As soon as he finished speaking, the mecha took off and disappeared into the sky.
Carlotta stood there, looking up at the disappearing mecha, stunned for a moment before turning her gaze back to the several dusty-looking maids in the Pleiades.
"You." Her voice was flat.
Luna, however, sensed danger.
As expected.
Carlotta's merciless voice rang out.
"My entire salary for this month has been deducted."
"No! Your entire year's salary will be deducted!"
"No, Miss!"
The maids wailed in despair.
Carlotta ignored them, her gaze sweeping over the Changli of people present: Nagato, Juno, Augusta, Lupa, Yangyang, Suisui, Sanhua, Lynae, Sigrika, and Jinhsi...
Wait a minute.
When her gaze fell on Jinhsi, she finally realized that something was wrong.
"What happened to the Magistrate Jin?"
