The Hidden Yandere
Baldorio walked over from the campfire carrying a large pot, its contents a vibrant green, steaming and emitting a grassy aroma.
He slammed the pot down on the table, his face crinkling with laughter.
"Come, come, try my cooking. Green juice bay leaf salad, a dish that even the Sentinel praised back in the day!"
Kexi's eyes twitched as she looked at the shiny green lump in the pot.
The Sentinel praised it? He vaguely remembered that this thing was the favorite of some blond-haired PE student, which had nothing to do with the Sentinel.
But he dared not say it. This old man dared to criticize even the Order to the death. If he knew that he had "misinterpreted" the Heavenly Sound of the Sentinel, he would definitely be furious with him.
"Uncle Baldorio, I have a sensitive stomach and can't eat anything too refined." Kexi clutched her stomach, her expression so sincere it could be an actor's performance. "Look at my face, it's all green. I'm afraid I can't enjoy it."
Baldorio glanced at him, then at the vibrant green salad in the pot, and shook his head regretfully. "You don't know what you're missing. This stuff clears heat and detoxifies; you'll feel refreshed after eating it."
He turned and handed the pot to Brant, Brant ate with gusto, finishing half a bowl in just a few bites and even giving a thumbs up.
Kexi quickly slipped away.
He strolled leisurely deeper into the camp, and after only a few steps, he saw Roccia sitting in front of a half-finished mechanical device.
Holding a wrench in one hand and a screw in the other, she was intently adjusting a gear set.
Pero lay beside her, a leaf she'd picked up from somewhere perched on her head, her small eyes half-closed.
Kexi's eyes lit up, and she eagerly went over.
"Hey, little sister, busy again?"
Roccia paused for a moment, looked up to see it was him, then lowered her head to continue tightening the screws.
"You keep turning this and that every day, aren't you tired?" Kexi squatted down and took a closer look at the mechanism in her hand. "Do you want your brother to help you? I'm stronger, I can tighten it better than you."
Roccia ignored him.
"Silence means consent?" Kexi reached out to grab the wrench in her hand.
Roccia withdrew her hand, hiding the wrench behind her back, and stared at him expressionlessly.
"Abnormal."
"Hey, that's where you're wrong." Kexi stood up, looking hurt, hands on her hips. "How am I a pervert? I'm just being helpful. Look around this island, who's as kind-hearted as me?"
Roccia lowered her head and continued tightening the screws.
"How about this," Kexi shifted her position, squatting down opposite her to be at eye level, "Let's chat. You tell me how old you are, how many people are in your family, what your hobbies are, and what you like to eat. I'll tell you mine too. Let's exchange information and get to know each other better."
Roccia stopped holding the wrench, looked up, and a hint of confusion appeared in her eyes.
"Why do you want to deepen your relationship with me?" she asked.
"Because I want to be friends with you," Kexi said matter-of-factly.
"I don't want to be your friend." Roccia said, then jumped off the rock and left.
Kexi followed up. "Why? What's wrong with me? Tell me, and I'll change."
Roccia didn't turn around. "Call me 'older sister'."
That's a respectful way to address you!
"You're a lolicon."
"How am I a lolicon? I just like to call little girls 'older sister'! It's a matter of respect, you understand!"
Roccia stopped and glanced back at him.
Those eyes held a calm threat that said, "Try saying that again."
Kexi wisely kept quiet.
Roccia crawled into the box, and Pero made a face at Kexi before slamming the lid shut.
Kexi squatted down next to the box and tapped the lid. "Roccia, let me explain. I'm really not a pervert. I just have a sharp tongue, and I want to tease cute little girls when I see them. But I'm pure at heart, you can believe me."
There was no movement inside the box.
"Roccia? Little sister? Mature woman? Roccia mature woman?"
The box lid was ajar, and Roccia peeked out, her eyes fixed on him for a few seconds before she uttered a sentence.
If you call me "older sister" again, I'll have Pero bite you.
Then the lid closed again.
Kexi sat on the ground next to the box and sighed.
Brant walked by and laughed so hard he slapped his thigh.
"You deserve it. I told you not to mess with her, but you wouldn't listen. That's just how Roccia is; the more you tease her, the less she'll talk to you."
"I just want to get along with her," Kexi said, standing up and brushing the dirt off her pants. "After all, I'll be staying on the island for a while, so I need to get to know everyone."
"If you get rid of that habit of calling her 'older sister,' you might have a chance."
Kexi pursed her lips and didn't reply.
That evening, Kexi returned to her cabin, lay down on the bed, and stared at the ceiling, starting to think about her plans for the next day.
The first step is to go find Selina and check on Jinhsi's situation.
Jinhsi is awake; he needs to find a way to get her to talk.
With just a word from her, the arrest warrant could be withdrawn. No matter how fierce Sanhua and Changli, they can't deny Jinhsi's words.
The second step is to go to the vault. He has money in his hands now, but the vault contains more than just money.
The bottom layer of Everard Vault contains a batch of Echo, samples acquired by the family from various places in earlier years for the development of private terminals.
That thing is just a collectible for ordinary people, but for him it is a real source of energy.
Feed all those Echo to Aleph-1, and maybe he can reach 100,000 points in one go and unlock the Void Halberd.
With the halberd in hand, let alone Christopher, even if the president of the Fractsidus came in person, he would dare to challenge him.
And then there's the knife in the vault, which he's been eyeing ever since Chapter 81.
He still lacks a suitable weapon, and most importantly, he wants to see if he can actually do the sword flight he learned from Yangyang in Christopher's script world.
Exactly, this will cost a lot of money. If Carlotta knew, she might invite him to witness the New Wave on the spot.
It's okay though.
It Fractsidus; what does it have to do with Kexi?
Hehehe.
On Carnival Day, he would give Carlotta a heartfelt confession, thanking her for taking care of everything for him and for cleaning up his messes since childhood.
Having no other way to repay him, he could only offer himself in marriage.
After all, how could such a wonderful second sister marry someone else in the future?
Siblings should always be together!
How can an older sister show affection to anyone other than her younger brother?
His sister's love only needs to be given to him.
If such a person really exists, wouldn't it be enough to just kill him?
Once he's gone, all the love his sister had taken away will return to him.
Ah~
My second sister is mine, and she can only be mine!
Kexi rolled over, pulled the blanket over her head, and closed her eyes contentedly.
In his dream, he was driving Aleph-1, holding Christopher in his left hand and the president of the Fractsidus in his right, slapping them both across the face.
Not long after, the scene switched to Kexi squatting down, holding a bouquet of flowers, proposing to Carlotta, who was covering her mouth in shock.
"Are you crazy?! I'm your older sister!"
