History

Arrival at Kunlun Mountain

Nuwa had generally cultivated in seclusion at her own dojo and rarely entered the Primordial World. Sensitive to changes in the world's energy through the Dao of Creation, she came to Kunlun after the Three Pure Ones' advancement and Hongjun's impending sanctification. 36

At Kunlun, she was immediately drawn to Lin Shen's pure, boundless life-origin aura. Unable to see through his origins despite her cultivation, she developed an intense maternal affection for him upon their first meeting. 36 37

Lin Shen's first clear word—“hug”—was directed at Nuwa, beginning a rivalry between her and the Three Pure Ones for his affection. Nuwa argued that Lin Shen's affinity for her was a resonance with the Great Dao of Creation, then secured his preference by creating a lifelike kitten from Creation Qi. 37 38 39

Residence on Kunlun Mountain

Nuwa asked to bring Lin Shen to Wa Huang Palace for several days, but the Three Pure Ones refused. Laozi later invited her to reside on Kunlun instead, judging that her presence would benefit Lin Shen's temperament, cultivation, and growth. 42 44

She accepted and used her power of creation to raise a new Wa Huang Palace on Kunlun Mountain. The palace was surrounded by exotic flowers, rare herbs, and small animals, with an open playground deliberately left for Lin Shen. 44

Breakthrough through Lin Shen

While attempting to refine Lin Shen's Origin Qi, Nuwa's Creation Qi resonated with the power within his ginseng leaf. Lin Shen instinctively returned vast primordial energy to her, breaking her bottleneck and elevating her from peak Grand Unity Golden Immortal to mid-stage Primordial Golden Immortal. 45 46

Nuwa regarded this as a life-altering grace and bowed solemnly to Lin Shen in thanks. 46

Reincarnation and the Underworld

Nuwa pursued Lin Shen into the Nether Abyss after fearing for his safety. There, she met Houtu for the first time; their initial tension over Lin Shen's upbringing gave way to cooperation after they chose to honor his promise to help the suffering remnant souls. 156

By joining hands, Nuwa's Creation Great Dao and Houtu's Earth Dao purified some of the souls' resentment and revealed the connection between creation, bearing, life, death, beginning, and end. 157
