Background / History

Luviazael Edelfelt hails from the prestigious Finnish Edelfelt magus family. Her family is exceptionally wealthy, collects magical treasures and talented people, and is resented by older mage families for its comparatively recent rise through the acquisition of magical resources. Luvia is accustomed to the resulting prejudice and insults at the Clock Tower. 16 23 31

She arrives at Adra Castle to pursue Gryphon’s inheritance. After initially treating Higashino Kanade as an intruder and threatening Waver Velvet with a lethal Gandr bullet, she clashes with Kanade directly. Kanade disables her limbs with Chakra Scalpel, heals her after she swears on the Edelfelt name, and discovers her intense curiosity toward his unfamiliar abilities. Luvia promptly breaks her non-magical promise not to attack him and knocks him out to pursue the inheritance alone. 17 19 20

Her bodyguard is critically wounded protecting her from a Magic Wolf.
