Background / History

Mountain Ancestor and Sea Ancestor were contemporaries, and the Mountain and Sea Realm was named after them rather than its geography. He was Sea Ancestor’s senior brother under Elder Qiming, and the realm later divided into a mountain-side and sea-side structure after their relationship irreparably collapsed. 289 399

He obtained the Buzhou Mountain inheritance after personally killing Elder Qiming and using his sacrifice to open a Lesser World’s treasure seal. He repeatedly denied the murder to Sea Ancestor, claiming their master had sacrificed himself to save them, but Sage Ancestor later exposed the truth. 401 402

After founding the Zhou Mountain Immortal Sect, Mountain Ancestor became the dominant power of the Mountain and Sea Realm. After Sage Ancestor exposed his murder of Elder Qiming, Sea Ancestor launched a forbidden attack fueled by the World Sea. Mountain Ancestor emerged unharmed, then revealed his intention to become the sole strongest being by sacrificing those under his command. 401 402 403

Mountain Ancestor trapped Sage Ancestor and Sea Ancestor inside Buzhou Mountain, controlled an army of zombified cultivators, and used Blood Soul Nether Rain and the Curse Power of All Beings to wear them down. 434 435

Mountain Ancestor devoured his Past Self and used the Buzhou Mountain Fragment to transform a Silver Immortal Gate into a Golden Immortal Gate. The gate rejected him because the fragment carried excessive World Sea Energy, forcing him to settle for ascension through the Silver Immortal Gate. 439 440 441

He emerged with the Full Moon Immortal Body, becoming the first of the three Old Ancestors to attain immortality. 441 444

Final Defeat

Ning Qi lured a Twisted Monster Army toward the newly ascended Mountain Ancestor. Though Mountain Ancestor destroyed many monsters, their black-water remains and Limitless Evil Qi invaded his Immortal Body. 444 445 446
