Background / History

The Dragon Person Race was once the Human Emperor’s contingency force. Following his death, they were tasked with destroying the Demon Race and initiating the World War. Over tens of thousands of years, they developed their world through conquest, resource extraction, and the accumulation of Mortal World Qi. 467

Originally known as the Dragon Person Hall, the race was not initially among the Void Realm’s powerful clans. Its ancestors earned a place to stand through generations of loyalty to the Human Emperor Palace, after which the Human Emperor entrusted them with secrets concerning the World War. Their first posthumous task was to lie in wait at the Demon Race’s home base and eliminate its remaining forces, preventing the Demon Race from taking leadership after the Human Race’s fall and ending the World War prematurely. 467

Thirty thousand years before the Human World invasion, the Dragon Person Race destroyed the Demon Race after it retreated to the Demon World. They later manipulated the Human Race and Demon Race toward internal conflict while preparing their own campaign into the Human World. 159

The race also imprisoned the Demon Race’s Qilin Dao Protector in an ancient city using the Soul-Binding Rope. The surviving Demon Ancestors attributed their race’s inability to reach the Demon God Realm in the Human World for thirty thousand years to this suppression of their racial destiny. 120 158

Their World War strategy does not end with military conquest. After taking a plane, they seize its Five Elements Root Artifact, merge it into their own world’s foundation, refine its Earth Spirit for Longevity Source, slaughter its living beings to release Mortal World Qi, and transfer that Qi away. Conquered worlds are consequently stripped of the conditions needed to continue existing. 289

The Dragon Person World’s Earth Spirit became exceptionally powerful after thirty thousand years of conquest and expansion. The accumulated Mortal World Qi within the world has begun changing its rules, allowing its cultivators to reach the Core Formation Realm, though using such power remains restricted because the world cannot yet withstand it. 462 467

Their early Human World operations relied on covert scouts, possession, hidden strongholds, and Demon Bridge teleportation formations. The Chixin Sect’s Demon Bridge Tower served as a hub connecting multiple early strongholds. 175 176 180

These strongholds also organized intelligence, stored cultivation resources and Artifact Refining materials, and tested whether locally obtained materials differed from those of the Dragon Person World. Early infiltrators were generally low-level cultivators because stronger individuals encountered greater resistance when crossing the World Barrier. 185

The Dragon Person Expeditionary Army eventually launched an open invasion of the Human World. Its forces favored elite combatants, war machines, biological weapons, long-range bombardment, and formations over sheer numbers. 168 271 279

During the opening phase of the invasion, the Dragon Person Race used blitzkrieg tactics to annihilate the Wang Family’s Luanjing Sea territory within three days before dividing its forces toward the Human World mainland and the Star Domain. 268 After conquering the Star Domain, they enslaved surviving Shen Family members with shackles that prevented the use of Martial Dao power, forcing captives to refine Spirit Beads and construct a massive altar. 169

The Sixth Expeditionary Army alone fielded approximately two hundred thousand elite Dragon Persons, all above the Fourth Realm, alongside Five Elements Demon Spirits, controlled war beasts, destructive Spiritual Artifacts, and combat engineers. The Dragon Person World normally deploys at least two expeditionary armies against an invaded world: one for the main assault and one as a reserve force. 230 271

Following severe losses, including the rebellion of their sentient Spiritual Artifacts, the Dragon Person forces were weakened in the Human World. The surviving members of that expeditionary force were later harvested by Venerable Lin to restore the Three Heavenly Venerables’ power. 282 283 296

During the campaign, Venerable Xia refused to report the army’s difficulties to the World Master, fearing that another expeditionary army would replace his forces. He instead authorized a taboo weapon despite Venerable Na’s warning that losing control of it could threaten the entire Void Realm. The army deliberately weakened its visible defenses to lure the Human World Allied Forces into an offensive. 289

After absorbing the remaining troops’ life force, the Three Heavenly Venerables surpassed their previous limits. Chen Yi’s Super Saiyan 2 transformation nevertheless overwhelmed them; after their physical bodies were destroyed, their souls merged and fled toward Wuxiang. 296

In the Real Realm era, the Dragon Person World remained a heavily industrialized, militarized plane. Chen Yi later negotiated with its World Lord, who agreed to protect the Human World’s Root Artifact and provide Artifact Refining materials in response to an alleged threat to the Void Realm. 462 467 468

Chen Yi initially intended to provoke war between the Dragon Person World and the Holy Dragon Realm, both to weaken them and to divert the Dragon Person Race from invading the Human World. He considered destroying the Dragon Person World directly, but recognized that the race had spread into numerous other planes and would not be easily annihilated by the loss of its home world. 462 463

The World Lord initially refused Chen Yi’s request to nurture the Mountain River Armor within the Dragon Person World’s Earth Spirit and remained defiant after being defeated. Subsequent discussion revealed the race’s historical mission and led to cooperation in fostering the armor. Chen Yi ultimately chose not to interrupt the continuing World War until he could address the Human Emperor’s larger struggle from a stronger position. 465 467 468 469

Real Realm Organizations and Conflicts

The Heavenly Sha Sect was a Dragon Person-led power on Blaze Star. Chen Yi initially approached it in a Dragon Person disguise to obtain instruction on advancing to the Core Formation Realm, but lacked the residence permit required to join. Its sect master, Siduoduo, participated in the struggle over the Female Heavenly Emperor’s relics and was later defeated by Chen Yi, although his soul escaped. 366 367 370 374

During the Star Harbor pursuit, Dragon Person forces withdrew from direct combat after recognizing Chen Yi’s disproportionate destructive power against their bodies. Heavenly Sha Sect leaders interpreted this advantage as a Human Race Special Physique, calling it “Dragon Person Bane.” 399

The Evil Dragon Society, led by the Dragon Person Race, exploited the Peace Bureau’s failures and disorder in Immortal Qi distribution to challenge the Holy Dragon Society. It undermined the rival society’s prestige, weakened its forces, and gathered supporters and resources. The intervention of the Holy Dragon Society’s president, the Immortal Emperor known as the Heavenly Dragon Emperor, prevented these efforts from producing lasting results and forced the Evil Dragon Society to declare loyalty. 557

Heavenly Dragon Kingdom

In a later simulation, the Heavenly Sha Alliance eliminated the Resistance Alliance and unified Blaze Star. Chen Yi established the Heavenly Dragon Kingdom, whose subjects were called Heavenly Dragon People. The new national designation did not identify a separate biological race; the kingdom’s founding ceremony still excluded the Human Race. 517

In the 172nd year, Chen Yi returned to Blaze Star, dismissed his former avatar, resumed his Siduoduo identity, and announced the conquest of the Mysterious Maiden Star System. He deliberately kept the Human Race army out of the initial campaign, exploiting the Alien Race generals’ desire to monopolize military merits and rewards. 602

The twenty-year campaign conquered the two remaining Second-Class Stars, Sunrise Star and Sunset Star, as well as five Third-Class Stars, including Horse Ranch Star and Stone Pit Star. Chen Yi deliberately employed life-consuming tactics that sacrificed many high-level Alien Race combatants, especially members of the dominant Dragon Person Race. He then distributed Blaze Star’s forces across the occupied planets, weakening centralized military control and reducing the pressure on Human Race communities. 603

The expanded kingdom controlled an important Star Lane and became a stellar-level power. Its military officials celebrated the territorial gains, while civil officials warned that dispersing its armed forces endangered internal stability. The Ares Immortal Kingdom prepared to formalize its vassal status through an imperial envoy. 603

Later Dragon Person World Search

Chen Yi later sought to return to the Dragon Person World to retrieve the Mountain River Armor, one of the Human World’s damaged Root Artifacts placed in separate planes for protection and restoration. When he, his clones, and his artifact spirits could not locate the Dragon Person World’s spacetime shard, they instead found the Holy Dragon Realm and decided to seek the Qiankun Mirror’s assistance in locating the plane. The unsuccessful search did not establish that the Dragon Person World had been destroyed. 646

Dragon Persons generally possess draconic humanoid bodies. Their appearance varies by individual and state, particularly between physical and soul forms. 64 120 175
