The Real Realm is a boundless universe of stars, planets, nebulae, and galaxies. Individual planets may resemble the Void Realm’s worlds, but its true scale lies in its sea of stars. 167 473

The Real Realm’s laws are more complete, solid, and restrictive than those of the Void Realm. A cultivator or artifact does not necessarily lose its intrinsic power upon arrival; rather, the stronger environment suppresses abilities that were easy to use in lower-order worlds. 343

Relationship with the Void Realm

The Void Realm’s cultivation paths are capped at the Martial God Realm. Entering the Real Realm opens a longer path toward immortality, though ascendants from the Void Realm have historically faced unknown obstacles to becoming immortal. 226

Suppression of Void Realm Abilities

New arrivals from the Void Realm may find that abilities once considered ordinary no longer function at their former level.

• Spiritual Sense and free flight are unavailable to low-level cultivators; a Qi Transformation Realm cultivator cannot simply fly or project Spiritual Sense. 343
• Shattering space, which can be achieved in the Void Realm by high-level Martial Artists, is vastly more difficult under the Real Realm’s spatial laws. 343
• Void Realm storage rings may degrade into ordinary Dharma Artifacts and lose their independent storage spaces. 343

History

The Human Ancestor is said to have entered the Real Realm in the distant Ancient Era and used supreme immortal arts to establish the Ascension Path between the Human World and the Real Realm. The path later vanished for unknown reasons; even the last Human Emperor, who lived thirty thousand years ago, failed to locate it. 314

Thirty thousand years ago, the Human World was the Core of Ten Thousand Races and could communicate with the Real Realm relatively conveniently. Information, cultivation methods, and technology could be transmitted even when physical return remained impossible. 466

Over time, knowledge obtained from the Real Realm became a strategic resource. The Desolate Ancient Remnant People sought the Ascension Path because their descendants could send back knowledge, technology, cultivation methods, and information after establishing themselves in the Real Realm. 323

Access to the Real Realm

Ascension Path

The Ascension Path is the most direct known route from the Human World to the Real Realm. It presents travelers with repeated Life-or-Death choices; Chen Yi’s successful route required choosing “Death” through 999 consecutive paths. 342
