When the waters of the Eight Treasures Merit Pool rise to the brim, when the shade of the bodhi groves shelters the western lands,

Xuande ascends to sagehood before the eyes of all, becoming the West's first sage.

With his lotus-born body, he shoulders the destiny of a land poised for greatness.
