Background / History
Nuwa created the Human Race from the Nine Heavens Breathing Soil, Three Lights Divine Water, and Creation Dao Rhyme. Huang Tian became the first of the Innate Humans to obtain a physical body, while the Kongtong Seal recognized him as master. Following her ascension, Nuwa erected a Sage Barrier around humanity’s homeland for one million years. 1
The newly born race was initially vulnerable: other races regarded humans as Blood Food, while Huang Tian learned that the Immortal Dao offered to humanity was a dead-end path meant to exploit their destiny. The Kongtong Seal instead provided the Human Immortal Martial Dao, a cultivation system suited to human bodies and souls. 2 3
Under Huang Tian, the Human Race built 129,600 cave dwellings, adopted the Human Ancestral Hall as an inheritance center, and began a rapid transition from survival to civilization. Sui Ren Shi pioneered fire and cooked food, Zi Yi Shi invented clothing, and You Chao Shi built shelters; their achievements earned heavenly merit and established the Three Ancestors’ place in human society. 3 7 8
The race then developed bronze weapons, artifact refinement, the five grains, city networks, and systems for rewarding service. Human warriors hunted demon clans for merit, while the Spirit Transformation Pool and Twelve Star Palaces cultivated stronger descendants and specialized paths such as swordsmanship, pills, talismans, and artifacts. 9 10 15 33
After subduing the Earth Bear Clan, humanity formed four Human King Cities around the Human Ancestral Hall and began linking other races to its destiny. The Twelve Zodiacs, Dragon Clan, and Sea Race later became major associated powers, helping transform the Human Race from an East Sea power into a force equal to the Witch and Demon Clans. 12 42 98
The establishment of the Great Han Dynasty marked humanity’s transition from a race to a Human Dao polity. With the Kongtong Seal at its core, the dynasty gained Great Dao recognition, created the Human Dao Investiture of the Gods List, and elevated the Human Race’s authority beyond the Heavenly Dao’s direct jurisdiction in its territories. 135 137 138
