"That's not necessarily true."
Ling Chu smiled. "You don't know me, but I've heard plenty about you... Counterfeit Wholesaler Lucas."
Lucas frowned. "Counterfeit Wholesaler? What's that supposed to mean?"
Ling Chu only smiled. Her gaze passed over his shoulder to the dark sea in the distance.
Less than a minute remained until the attack time she and Titch had agreed on. Ling Chu found herself looking forward to seeing Lucas's face when he saw those old friends who were supposedly "long dead."
Lucas clearly paid no mind to the baffling nickname "Counterfeit Wholesaler."
What mattered to him was her mention of the Barrel Pirate Crew.
"Playing games, are you?"
Lucas sneered and lunged. The water blade trailing his short knife suddenly changed course midflight, sweeping toward her neck from the side like a transparent whip.
Ling Chu had long since stopped judging Tidal Blade by the reach of an ordinary weapon. She bent sharply backward, and the transparent blade skimmed past her nose, slicing an overturned long table behind her cleanly in two.

Puppies Don't Eat Chocolate: "Lucas is so strong! His Strength and Agility look way higher than Ling Chu's. He's got to be at least Sixth Tier, right?"
Philadelphia Potato Chips: "Sixth Tier can't be that powerful, can it? I remember Cracked-Shell Shrimp are Fifth-Tier monsters. These ones made from Test Subjects can't be any lower, and Lucas took one's head off with a single slash. I think he's Seventh Tier."
The players in the livestream couldn't see Lucas's exact stats, but the clash had already shown them the gulf between the two fighters.
His almost instantaneous speed and the power to cut through a Fifth- or Sixth-Tier Test Subject with one slash were intimidating even through a screen.
