Background / History

Bronya attends St. Freya alongside Kiana and Mei. She and Kiana regularly clash, with Bronya dismissing Kiana’s fists as powerless while Project Bunny makes a dramatic appearance behind her. Mei can immediately halt both girls’ arguments by threatening to ban games and snacks. 3

During the Moonlight Throne incident, Bronya enters a blackened, berserk state and attacks Kiana and Mei with a blackened suit and dozens of cannons. Mo Wang repeatedly incapacitates her before using projected weapons to break her corrupted armor and force the state back. Bronya later feels guilty for hurting her friends and seeks out Mo Wang to play games when she cannot sleep. 10 11 16

Her past with Cocolia is deeply conflicted. Though Bronya calls her “Mommy Cocolia,” their relationship is described as more like that of superior and subordinate. Cocolia’s experiments caused Seele’s disappearance and included implanting a chip intended to make Bronya kill Seele. 73 76

When Cocolia becomes the Ice Herrscher, Bronya confronts her rather than retreating from their shared past. Her determination triggers the evolution into Dimension Break, allowing her to help defeat Cocolia. 76

Bronya later orchestrates a competition so that Mei will be her first opponent, immobilizing her with a prepared glue attack before deploying Dimension Break and overwhelming her with cannon fire. 83 84

In Belobog, Bronya is unwillingly made to perform as an idol as part of Mo Wang’s plan. After taking Cocolia’s position as Guardian, she accepts responsibility for Belobog’s recovery and remains captain of the Honkai Girls despite the increased workload. 105 118

Much later, Bronya enters the Quantum Sea with Mo Wang, searches for Seele, and recklessly races toward Kevin after becoming the Herrscher of Reason. Kevin easily defeats her and nearly takes her core before Mo Wang intervenes. 809 810 811

She is also highly strategic. In her match against Mei, she arranged the competition bracket in advance and prepared a glue-based countermeasure specifically for Mei’s fighting style. 83

Despite her detached demeanor, Bronya is deeply affected by the harm caused during her corruption and by Cocolia’s treatment of Seele. She ultimately chooses to confront Cocolia for the people she cares about, and later accepts the exhausting responsibility of governing Belobog. 16 76 118
