Background / History

Tang Yuehua awakened the mutated Ruyi Ring at age six, possessing innate Soul Power of 9.8 and an innate domain. Despite the Clear Sky Sect initially treating her as a prodigy, her incomplete mutation left her permanently stalled below level 10. At seven, Tang Hao and Tang Xiao brought her to the Far North; Tang Hao viewed her as a burden, while Tang Xiao later forgot her amid Tang Hao's injuries. She subsequently disappeared and was eventually sold at an auction. 56 58 72

Bibi Dong purchased her and initially attempted to return her to the Clear Sky Sect. The sect ignored repeated messages, leaving Tang Yuehua at the Martial Soul Temple, where she remained silent despite being well treated and eventually volunteered for cleaning work. After deciding to investigate her domain, Bibi Dong taught her music. 72

Music allowed Tang Yuehua to merge her emotions with her domain and discover her ability to influence others' emotions. Her performance drove Bibi Dong into deep meditation and raised both of their spiritual power; it also gave her the confidence that she was not worthless. 74 75

Tang Xiao later removed her from the Martial Soul Temple by force and returned her to the Clear Sky Sect. Tang Yuehua rejected the Clear Sky Sect's later attempts to reestablish contact. When asked to return, she answered that she belonged to Spirit Hall and was willing to change her surname if the sect objected. 200

Return to the Clear Sky Sect

Following the sect's collapse, Bibi Dong ordered Tang Yuehua to recover its resources and save any women and children she wished. Protected by Chen Xin, she returned as a Title Douluo and exposed the sect's internal quarrels over succession and Tang Wei's Soul Bones. 228 230

Tang Yuehua revealed her two Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Rings, refused the position of Sect Master, and stated that she only intended to bury Tang Wei and preserve part of the sect's legacy.
