Ning Fengzhi first crosses paths with Nan Feng outside Moonlight Pavilion while visiting Tang Yuehua with Chen Xin. He politely returns Nan Feng's greeting, unaware at first of his identity; Chen Xin then reveals that Nan Feng's mere aura froze his Soul Power and could likely kill him in a single move. 63

Clear Sky Sect Crisis

As tensions escalate following Qian Xunji's death, Ning Fengzhi advises the Clear Sky Sect to sacrifice Tang Hao politically through an apology and kill-on-sight warrant. His advice is rejected by Tang Hao's elder brother, contributing to the collapse of negotiations and the approach of war. 92

When Nan Feng arrives in Seven Treasure City with Tang Yuehua and presents Ning Ke's jade token, Ning Fengzhi recognizes the connection to his grandmother and treats Nan Feng as a senior. He leads Nan Feng to Ning Ke's grave and later fulfills her final instruction by presenting Nan Feng with the unfinished Red Jade Pagoda. 99 101
