Background / History

Tang Hao was the original Young Sect Master of the Clear Sky Sect and one of its foremost inheritors. He possessed the sect's Clear Sky Hammer, had inherited at least two of its spirit bones, and mastered the generation-exclusive Great Sumeru Hammer technique. He is Tang Xiao's younger brother, Tang Yuehua's second brother, and Tang Chen's grandson. 65 133

While training abroad, Tang Hao fell in love with a hundred-thousand-year soul beast in human form. The pair intended to return to the Clear Sky Sect and marry, but Qian Xunji sought to seize the soul beast's spirit ring and soul bone. Under Qian Xunji's orders, Ghost attempted to intercept and kill Tang Hao; Tang Hao resisted, shattered one of Ghost's legs, and disappeared with his companion. 65 130

Martial Soul Hall publicly accused Tang Hao of attacking an elder and demanded that the Clear Sky Sect hand him over. The sect failed to protect him decisively, while the pressure and concern contributed to his father's death. 65 112 133

Years later, Martial Soul Hall located Tang Hao again. Qian Xunji personally led Yue Guan, Ghost, Platinum Bishops, and other experts to surround him and his weakened companion, who had recently given birth. When Tang Hao was cornered and gravely injured, she sacrificed herself to him. Her sacrifice allowed Tang Hao to break through to Titled Douluo, gain a hundred-thousand-year ninth spirit ring, and recover from his injuries. 75 131

Tang Hao used the Great Sumeru Hammer and Ring Explosion to defeat the pursuing force, severely injuring Qian Xunji and the accompanying elders before escaping. Qian Xunji later died of those injuries. 70 87 131

During Martial Soul Hall's subsequent assault on the Clear Sky Sect, Tang Xiao publicly expelled Tang Hao to prevent the conflict from escalating into the sect's destruction. Tang Hao remained badly wounded and missing. 110
