Background / History

Tang Xiao is Tang Chen's eldest grandson and the elder brother of Tang Hao. After Tang Chen disappeared and Tang Hao's relationship with a hundred-thousand-year transformed soul beast brought pressure from Spirit Hall upon the Clear Sky Sect, Tang Xiao broke through to the Titled Douluo realm and assumed the sect mastership, holding the sect together during its decline. 65

Although he initially argued that the Clear Sky Sect should protect Tang Hao against Spirit Hall, the sect elders opposed him. Defense of Clear Sky Sect

When Spirit Hall launches a surprise attack, Tang Xiao personally guards the mountain gate while the sect's core members evacuate. He holds back the enemy with the Clear Sky Hammer but is gravely injured by Golden Crocodile Douluo. 107 108
