Bibi Dong grew up in Spirit City without knowing her parents. Her cultivation talent brought her into Qian Xunji’s personal tutelage at twelve. At sixteen, the Elder Palace made an exception to its rules and appointed her Saintess while she was still a Spirit King, making her the youngest Saintess in Spirit Hall’s history 2 4.

She met Yu Xiaogang the day after her investiture. His refusal to flatter her and willingness to criticize her cultivation attracted her attention. Over five years, their arguments developed into frequent meetings in Spirit Hall’s library and a close emotional attachment 4.

Qian Xunji later ordered her to lead two thousand elite Soul Masters against Sea God Island. The expedition lost both accompanying Titled Douluo elders, and fewer than a hundred people escaped to the ship. Her pursuit of strength is closely tied to revenge against Qian Xunji. She trains to mental exhaustion and sometimes cultivates recklessly enough that Nan Feng must stabilize her chaotic energy.
