Qian Daoliu serves as Martial Soul Hall's Great Worship and becomes its formal highest authority after the death of Pope Qian Xunji. He presides over the Elder Palace during the resulting succession crisis and broader conflict with the Clear Sky Sect. 87

Before Nan Feng's true identity is revealed, Qian Daoliu first learns of him through Qian Renxue's complaints. He is astonished that a seemingly level-twelve child could bind her with spider silk that absorbs Sacred Soul Power and cannot be burned by Sacred Fire. 23

He is Qian Renxue's grandfather and takes an active role in watching over her. Before Qian Xunji's death, he secretly observes her growing attachment to Nan Feng and offers to house Nan Feng at the Elder Palace for her sake. 48

Qian Xunji's Injury and Death

Following Tang Hao's attack on Qian Xunji, Qian Daoliu transports his severely injured son to the Angel God Temple. He investigates Nan Feng's threat, then later uses Angelic divine power to kill Qian Xunji after the failed divine trial. 77 80 82
