Background

Qian Renxue initially approaches Nan Feng because Qian Xunji tells her that befriending Bibi Dong’s adopted younger brother will give her a legitimate reason to visit the Saintess Palace and see her mother. Although initially disdainful of Nan Feng’s level-twelve spirit power, she accepts the arrangement out of her longing for Bibi Dong’s attention 14.

Her early encounters with Nan Feng are marked by jealousy, pride, and repeated misunderstandings. Attempting to approach or give him gifts often ends with Nan Feng fleeing from her or covertly trapping her with spider silk. Her failures force her to apologize, negotiate, and confront her habit of expecting others to obey her wishes 15 18 19 20 24.

After Qian Xunji’s death, Qian Renxue is left grieving and emotionally unstable. She initially confronts Nan Feng over the death of the young Nan Feng she believed Bibi Dong had killed, but his arguments about survival, revenge, and Spirit Hall’s hypocrisy leave her unable to respond 75 82 83. Qian Renxue is proud, competitive, and initially dismissive of those she considers weaker. She refuses to admit defeat even after Nan Feng repeatedly restrains her, seeking Qian Daoliu’s help to understand the spider silk rather than accepting her loss 23.

Despite this pride, she is persistent and willing to humble herself when knowledge or affection is at stake. She repeatedly asks Nan Feng to bind her again so that she can learn how his ability works, even after experiencing the loss of her Sacred Soul Power 24 25 26.

The Spider Silk Rivalry

Her interactions with Nan Feng escalate into a recurring contest. Nan Feng traps her in spider silk that drains her soul power, while Qian Renxue alternates between threats, pleas, apologies, and renewed challenges. The deception is later exposed, intensifying the tension between Bibi Dong and Nan Feng 40 41 42.

Grief After Qian Xunji’s Death

Qian Xunji’s death leaves Qian Renxue distraught. Seeing an adult Nan Feng who resembles the young Nan Feng she believes was killed, she confronts him and demands that he leave. Nan Feng challenges her understanding of revenge and directs her anger toward the fact that Bibi Dong was responsible for the young Nan Feng’s death 75 82 83.

Growing Dependence on Nan Feng

Following her father’s death, Qian Renxue becomes more vulnerable and seeks Nan Feng’s company. Though he initially rejects her, he later agrees to care for her; she accepts his stern guidance about eating properly and resolves not to repeat Qian Xunji’s arrogance 85 86.

Soul Tool Apprenticeship

While grieving and isolated in the Pope Palace, Qian Renxue begins sketching Soul Tool designs. Nan Feng gives her beginner materials, research notes, and the ''Bee Sting'' Soul Tool, beginning her development as a Soul Tool student 117 118.

Plea for Qian Xunji and Confronting Loneliness

Qian Renxue later asks Nan Feng to show mercy toward Qian Xunji, but Nan Feng rebukes her by emphasizing the suffering caused by her father’s actions 134. Heaven Dou Infiltration

Her stated justification is that taking Heaven Dou from within could reduce the casualties of a future continental conflict, but she later admits that loneliness and her desire to see Nan Feng were central motives 154 157.

Registered Disciple of Nan Feng

After confronting her unilateral actions, Nan Feng agrees to accept Qian Renxue as a nominal disciple. This gives him a legitimate reason to train and monitor her while explaining Xue Qinghe’s altered behavior to the Heaven Dou court 157 168.
