Background

Qian Xunji serves as the Pope of Spirit Hall and bears the pure Six-Winged Angel martial soul. As Pope, he balances the organization’s political affairs with cultivation and the Angel Trials, refusing to remain in seclusion for excessive periods while Spirit Hall requires his leadership 79 82.

He first encounters Yu Changge’s family in the Star Dou Forest while securing a thousand-year Shadow Poison Demon Spider for Bibi Dong’s second soul ring. After identifying himself as the current Supreme Pontiff, he takes an interest in Changge’s unusual external beast martial soul and future potential 19.

Qian Xunji later brings Changge into Spirit City, grants him unrestricted access to the Pope Palace Library Pavilion, and provides him a residence and cultivation resources. His assistance is conditional: Changge must agree to one future request from him 30 33.
