Background / History

Meng Hongchen and her brother Xiao Hongchen awakened their Martial Souls with Innate Full Soul Power. Their grandfather, Jing Hongchen, celebrated with a grand banquet, where six-year-old Meng Hongchen first met Wang Chen. Captivated by his appearance, she became attached to him; the two later became childhood sweethearts. 6 7

After the All-Continent Advanced Soul Master Academy Soul Duel Tournament, she promised Jing Hongchen she would train harder. When he prohibited her from seeing Wang Chen because the Wang Family supported the Second Prince in the succession struggle, she attempted to flee using a propulsion soul tool. Jing Hongchen stopped her and assigned Number Three as her bodyguard, specifically ordering the guard to prevent visits to the Wang Family. 6

Unable to meet Wang Chen openly, Meng Hongchen devised a secret correspondence route through the Hundred Treasures Pavilion.
