Background
Theo was born a tigerfolk, a race described as one of the foremost races. Like other tigerfolk arriving in the world, he received a random blessing from the Endless Abyss: [Great Prophecy]. He initially considered the ability useless, until he died and experienced his life as a dream. Upon awakening, he retained knowledge of parts of the future, including humanity's eventual rise and Pei Chao's future status as a seventh-rank pirate. 33
Armed with that knowledge, Theo sought to subdue Pei Chao through [Ghost Servant Art] and turn him into a servant. Pei resisted the mental assault and escaped through Lorenz Town's mist boundary, which Theo could not cross. 33
Theo's future knowledge was incomplete. His previous life had only reached the fourth rank, centered largely on the Bloodmist Sea and Bolun'er Peninsula; he knew little about the wider sects or the path to immortality. 207 385
Appearance
Theo is an exceptionally large, muscular tigerfolk with distinctive white fur and a single eye.
- Initially stood roughly 2.5 meters tall and fought while wearing clothes. 32 33
- Has snow-white, translucent fur, often prompting others to associate him with the White Tiger. 175 198
- Is consistently described as one-eyed; he later used a prosthetic eye and an eyepatch. 520 577
- Possessed a diamond/crystal eye and a Black Tide Jellyfish eye after becoming immortal. 390
- The White King later removed his crystal eye; Theo felt unexpectedly more comfortable when his physical and mental images both returned to being one-eyed. 545
Personality
Theo began as an ambitious opportunist convinced that his foreknowledge would let him rewrite fate. He pursued future powerhouses, sought fragments of the Heart of Hundred Beasts, and repeatedly planned revenge against Feng Buzhi. 33 162 289
His defining principle is refusal to submit. Even when offered immediate immortality, he rejected becoming Black Tide's “dog”; later, although he believed he could call upon Feng Buzhi's power to escape danger, he refused to do so because voluntarily relying on it would feel like surrender. 388 624
Repeated control, defeat, and perceived “backstabbing” gradually exhausted his caution. By his later travels, he had largely abandoned elaborate schemes, becoming blunt, straightforward, and prone to voicing his thoughts without restraint. 650 Despite this, he remains composed under extreme pressure, including when the White King seized his eye and body. 545
Abilities & Skills
[Great Prophecy]
Theo's tigerfolk blessing grants premonitions and knowledge connected to his prior life.
- Retained memories of an original future after dying and awakening from a dreamlike second life. 33
- Identified Pei Chao as a future seventh-rank pirate and Kesh as a future power in the Black Eagle Chamber of Commerce. 33 194
- Receives instinctive bloodline premonitions, such as an urge to travel toward Bolun'er Peninsula or warnings to flee. 49 175
- His bloodline later strengthened, giving him sharper warnings that he might be targeted and controlled again. 610
- His knowledge is limited by the short span and low ceiling of his previous life; it cannot reliably account for changes caused by Feng Buzhi. 207 385
[Ghost Servant Art]
A tigerfolk bloodline art that manifests as purple ghostly light from Theo's eyes.
- Can control targets weaker than Theo and is particularly effective against humans. 33
- Failed against Pei Chao because Pei's will had been tempered by Feng Buzhi's training. 33
- Theo believed his late Clear Mind Realm breakthrough would make the technique effective against Pei in a later attempt. 49
- Cannot normally be learned by non-tigerfolk because it is a bloodline ability. 56
Eerie Flames and [Heart Fire]
Theo can wield unusual flames, including blue fire from his left arm and the more potent [Heart Fire].
- Blue flames crushed Pei Chao's cleaver and injured him during their first encounter. 49
- The [Heart Fire] could melt a tower of corpses through intense heat. 197
- An unknown force drew out and absorbed his [Heart Fire], leaving him weakened and disoriented. 197
Black Tide Immortal Powers
Theo's Black Tide transformation granted immortality-linked abilities, including regeneration, domination, and tentacular control.
- Can rapidly regenerate catastrophic wounds; he rejoined his body after being cut in half by Mason's [Heart Severing]. 650
- Can use jellyfish tentacles to transform members of other factions and gained the ninth-order Orc Iron Tower as a follower after demonstrating this power. 395
- Inherited a version of [Puppet Threads], allowing him to reverse-control Simba after his Promotion. 419
- The power's origin remains the Black Tide Jellyfish, which can still attempt to seize Theo's body and erode him. 419 422
- Possesses [Soul Countermeasure], which can contend with invasive consciousnesses in his mind. 428
[Eerie Bus]
A pathway formed by integrating the powers of the consciousnesses residing within Theo.
- Theo acts as the bus's driver and can draw upon its passengers' powers and pathways. 622
- Used Barsa's power to unleash a torrent of yellow flowers. 622
- Can summon a giant white spider through the White King's power. 622
- Believes that further development may allow him to summon all passengers simultaneously. 622
White King Authority
After merging with the White King's true body, Theo gained authority connected to the White King's powers.
- Can transform into a tiger-striped spider. 607
- Used the White King's authority to counterattack an unseen assailant after returning to the main world. 619
- Can overpower and pacify unruly uncanny power, forcibly taking Mason's Soul Vessel, [Heart Severing]. 650
Former Shadow Pathway
Theo once possessed a second pathway that allowed his hands to turn into shadows and enabled short-range shadow shuttling.
- Feng Buzhi demonstrated superior use of the pathway while controlling Theo's body. 202
- Feng Buzhi subsequently began stripping and replacing the pathway. 202
