Organization and Rule

• The Divine Court is the largest Divine Kingdom, controlling more than half of its region and sustaining itself by overseeing lesser Divine Kingdoms and harvesting their faith. 609

Holy Land Agreement

• After Jiang Changkong established Holy Land in Divine Court territory, Martial Star Ji Chang'an and other representatives permitted its continued existence but barred further expansion. 621
• The agreement prohibited Divine Court interference with law enforcement inside Holy Land, while restricting Jiang from enforcing law freely outside it. 621
• Holy Land was required to open its Enlightenment Hall, Dao Sound Hall, and Dao Arts Palace under the negotiated terms. 621

History

The Divine Court initially remained a potential counterweight to the Heavenly Court. When the Heavenly Court pursued Jiang Changkong, Liu Qingxuan recommended the Divine Court as the safer destination, judging it far less likely than the Immortal Court to cooperate in suppressing him. 601

Jiang entered its territory through the Northern Sea and learned of its faith-based Divine Kingdom system. He seized the White Elephant Kingdom, renamed it Holy Land, and used its awakened Heavenly Dao fragment to consolidate a new power base within Divine Court territory. 609 610 612

The Divine Court chose negotiation over immediate conflict with Jiang. Ji Chang'an, Army-Breaker God King, Water Virtue God King, and Gold Treasury Star Lord formalized the restrictions on Holy Land while seeking access to its unique cultivation halls and Jiang’s knowledge of Heavenly Court immortal offices. 621 622

The Court later granted Jiang access to its heavenly passage and the Ancient Heavenly Realm. There, four stone steles marked the respective territories of the Divine Court, Immortal Court, Demon Court, and Heavenly Court; combat beyond those boundaries was unrestricted. 630 631

As Mount Buzhou’s treasures drew every major faction, Divine Emperor Qu Hong hosted a Divine Court banquet to organize a joint expedition. The Four Courts were to lead the distribution of recovered treasures, while invited factions could each claim one priority item and share the remainder. 719

When the Heavenly Court’s actions became intolerable, the Divine Court joined the Immortal Court and Demon Court in formally declaring war. 777 Its Heavenly Emperor later wielded the Haotian Sacred Sword against the Demon Sovereign, but was ultimately abandoned when the Demon Emperor allied with Immortal Spirits and turned against the Divine Court. 821 830
