Tony Alone

Lu Mingyu and Reverse-Flash both exited their speed states, while Doctor Strange used the Eye of Agamotto to end the time energy surrounding himself. Because of their suits, Lu Mingyu and Reverse-Flash did not feel the cold, so they discussed the battle.

"Your speed still isn't fast enough, and there are many abilities you can't use at all. So I think I should train you and have you help me return to my own world." Red light blazed in Reverse-Flash's eyes. For some reason, Lu Mingyu believed what Reverse-Flash said, even though he knew Reverse-Flash was a villain.

Lu Mingyu held out his hands, wanting to shake hands with Reverse-Flash.

"What is this for?" Reverse-Flash asked, puzzled.

Lu Mingyu smiled faintly. "Think of it as a promise. A promise between us. During this time, you teach me your abilities, and I'll help you return to your world."

Doctor Strange looked at the two of them and said, "I know I shouldn't interrupt, but I still want to ask—neither of you is from this world?"

Doctor Strange's question instantly made Lu Mingyu panic. If Doctor Strange learned that he was not from this world, his attitude afterward would definitely change. Lu Mingyu shook his head and said, "I'm from this world, but he isn't. I have a kind of power that can help him return to his own world, but since I'm from this world, our energies are different as well."

Reverse-Flash looked at Lu Mingyu. He knew the person before him definitely was not from this world, but what was he hiding? Reverse-Flash wanted to know, yet he did not know how to ask. He looked at Doctor Strange and said, "I have to admit, that portal was pretty cool."

Doctor Strange chuckled softly. He knew that although portals were easy to open, they had truly helped turn the tide of the battle. Though they had won this fight without much danger, Doctor Strange was not particularly happy.

Today, he had become certain of his belief: the cracks between worlds would make their world increasingly dangerous. Setting aside Reverse-Flash, there was the Time Wraith alone. Doctor Strange did not know what kind of monster it was, but he knew it was like a ghost. If such a monster came to this world, the balance of the world would be affected.

Everything would deviate from its proper course. In other words, Earth would slowly be destroyed.

That was inevitable.

Doctor Strange looked at Reverse-Flash and said, "How did you travel here? Tell us, and we can analyze it together. That will help you return to your world and guard against another crossing. Otherwise, who knows where you might end up and get trapped."

Reverse-Flash nodded. He knew Doctor Strange was right. If they figured out how he had crossed over, they could avoid making the same mistake. Besides, he knew that if things from this world crossed into his own, his world would face problems too.

Though he was a villain, he did not want his world to disappear.

Tony looked over the empty grassland, not knowing what had happened. How had Lu Mingyu and the others, who had just been here, vanished for no reason? He could not help feeling afraid, because he suspected that black ghost had taken Lu Mingyu and the others away. So he had Jarvis search for unknown energy fluctuations to predict the direction from which the ghost would attack.

But after scanning for a long time, Jarvis found nothing. It was as if nothing had happened here. Tony raised a hand to his mouth and shouted, "Hey, anyone there? Stephen? Lu?"

The only sounds across the grassland were his own echo and the gentle wind. He knew speedsters' battles ended in an instant, but he had not expected Doctor Strange to vanish as well.

Tony prepared for battle, afraid that he too would disappear the next second.

He watched his surroundings vigilantly when a crimson-gold circle opened before him. He immediately relaxed, because he knew it was Doctor Strange's portal.

As the portal grew larger, the Boots of Valtorr stepped out of it, light magical energy rippling over them. Mordo and Black Lantern Quicksilver emerged from the portal, and the first thing they saw was Iron Man.

"Why is it you?" Mordo stared at Tony in disbelief. He knew this was Iron Man, and according to the Dark Blade's prompt, the world crack had just appeared here.

No matter how intelligent Tony was, he should not have been able to grasp the power of world cracks. In other words, Tony should not have been able to open or use a world crack.

He looked at Tony and said, "If you returned to your tower, you might find a pleasant surprise. But you probably can't go back now, so you won't get to see that surprise."

Tony knew Mordo was talking about those blank sheets of paper, so a smile appeared on his face. Fortunately, his armor hid it, or Mordo and Black Lantern Quicksilver would have known Tony was toying with them.

Silvery-white energy flashed past Mordo in an instant. At that moment, Tony immediately took off, knowing Black Lantern Quicksilver had made his move. Then Mordo lightly tapped the ground with the Boots of Valtorr and charged upward, magic continuously forming in his hands. They had sensed the presence of a world crack today, but they had not expected to encounter a lone Iron Man here.

This was a perfect opportunity!

Everything around Black Lantern Quicksilver slowed down. Just as he was about to rush toward Iron Man, a concussion grenade struck him. He was forced out of his super-speed state and blasted away. The Dark Blade in his hand still radiated a dangerous aura.

The magic in Mordo's hands bloomed swiftly like beautiful flowers, countless fragments of magic scattering around him.

Then the magic in Mordo's hands grew brighter and brighter, like the blazing sun.

Mordo hurled the spell. Tony quickly turned and dodged its attack while firing lasers from his hands at Mordo. Mordo reacted incredibly fast, instantly raising a defensive spell before the lasers, while the Mirror Dimension opened.

Fighting here would not affect the real world, because he was afraid the other Avengers would notice.

Doctor Strange opened a portal and returned with Lu Mingyu and Reverse-Flash, only to find that Tony had disappeared.

Looking over the tranquil grassland, Lu Mingyu said, "Mr. Stark didn't leave on his own, did he?"

"Probably not." Doctor Strange frowned. He seemed to sense a peculiar energy, one he had not used in a long time.

With a wave of both hands, he opened the Mirror Dimension and instantly saw the battle between Tony and Mordo.

Meanwhile, Lu Mingyu watched Quicksilver warily!

Doctor Strange used the Eye of Agamotto to stop time, but time soon began flowing again.

The Dark Blade had completely absorbed the power of time. Doctor Strange immediately noticed Black Lantern Quicksilver lying on the ground, stunned unconscious.
