The Master of the Dark Blade—Tony Stark

The massive explosion destroyed every floor above the twentieth, while the floors above the fortieth were practically obliterated. The remaining floors collapsed, enormous chunks of stone raining down from above. Lu Mingyu brought Hawkeye and the others to safety, then blue lightning surged across his body.

A faint violet hue appeared in his eyes, followed by blue-violet lightning flashing into existence behind him. He was in an extreme state as he charged madly toward the roof. He knew there were still people up there!

Lu Mingyu raced up along the building's exterior. By the time he reached the twentieth floor, there were no walls left for him to push off from. Looking at the falling boulders, his eyes lit up. He could use them to propel himself upward. Watching the massive stones descend slowly, he thought, My speed still isn't good enough. They're actually moving slowly. Reverse-Flash said that once you reached a certain level, everything around you would come to a standstill.

He quickly shook off his thoughts and leaped. The instant Lu Mingyu stepped on it, the boulder cracked apart. His eyes widened as he grabbed the stone above his head with both hands, then flipped himself upward in a swift kip-up. At the same time, he shattered the huge rocks around him with lightning. Though he had done it unintentionally, it made him realize just how aggressive his lightning was.

The violet glow in Lu Mingyu's eyes intensified, and the lines on his armor changed from blue to purple. Then he charged upward at full speed and spotted the moving Dark Blade!

The Dark Blade was entirely wrapped in blue lightning. Lu Mingyu stared at it in shock while dodging its attacks. He twisted his body aside, evading the Dark Blade, then stepped onto another boulder and continued rushing upward. He knew there were still people up there. There had to be!

It was as if Lu Mingyu's speed had broken through another limit. Turbulent air currents suddenly formed around him, and layers of air shields appeared over his body. The next second, Lu Mingyu burst through the shields and shot upward, his lightning turning completely purple!

Looking at the shattered currents, Lu Mingyu knew they were not merely air currents, but a manifestation of his Speed Force—a sign of his breakthrough.

He glanced back at the Dark Blade, then immediately widened the distance between them. At that moment, he saved the first person he had come to rescue. It was a gray-haired old man. Watching the Dark Blade's trajectory, Lu Mingyu jumped down. His right hand spun continuously, creating a small tornado that slowly lowered both him and the old man to the ground. Of course, Lu Mingyu only used the tornado when they were about to reach the ground.

When he had first been fleeing the explosion, Lu Mingyu had been unable to use this ability. Descending that way was far slower than running down the walls, and getting caught in the explosion would have been disastrous.

But now, he was around the thirtieth or fortieth floor, with no way to race down along the walls. He could only leap down to take this person away.

Just as the Dark Blade was about to stab Lu Mingyu, a bolt of red lightning struck it directly. Reverse-Flash appeared before him and said, "Go save people. Once this is over, I need to talk to you."

Lu Mingyu nodded. No longer bothering with the Dark Blade, purple lightning flashed across his body as he vanished in an instant.

He weaved through the enormous rubble within the building like a nimble little sprite. The purple lightning around Lu Mingyu resembled countless streaks, tracing beautiful arcs behind him.

Red light bloomed in Reverse-Flash's eyes as he began battling the Dark Blade. Red lightning flew from his hands, and he lunged forward in a single stride. He knew the Dark Blade could no longer absorb his speed, because it had already reached saturation after absorbing Lu Mingyu's speed.

Reverse-Flash grabbed the Dark Blade's hilt with both hands and saw a symbol! That symbol represented someone—Tony Stark! In that instant, Reverse-Flash's hands trembled. He had never expected the Dark Blade to belong to Iron Man.

Taking advantage of Reverse-Flash's distraction, the Dark Blade instantly broke free from his grasp. Blue lightning struck Reverse-Flash's body, then the blade turned and chased after Lu Mingyu.

Lu Mingyu was lucky this time. He found three people in a row and carried all of them on his back. But their weight instantly rendered him unable to move. His entire body shook as lightning scattered around him. Afraid that his lightning would strike them, he could not understand why he could not carry these people this time.

So he threw them off the building and sprinted downward at extreme speed himself. By the time they were about to hit the ground, Lu Mingyu was already waiting below. With both hands, he controlled a tornado and gently set the three people down. Cold sweat covered his body, and the lines on the Allen Armor had turned completely purple.

Lu Mingyu looked at the Allen Armor. He did not understand why this armor was also absorbing his energy, though it was only taking in his excess energy. Looking at the color-changing lines, he knew they represented the excess energy being absorbed by the Allen Armor.

He suddenly turned around, sensing the Dark Blade's attack. Then he raced toward the building.

Reverse-Flash desperately pursued the Dark Blade and roared at Lu Mingyu, "Deactivate the armor! Deactivate it now!"

Avengers Tower, laboratory.

Tony pressed a button, and a suit of armor emerged from the laboratory floor. It looked old, seemingly the armor Lu Mingyu had worn in his previous battle.

That was right. It was the armor Lu Mingyu had worn back then. Tony had made two suits of armor. Those two sets were his crowning achievement, because they could store Lu Mingyu's speed.

Of course, they only absorbed Lu Mingyu's excess energy and would not affect his speed or stamina.

Tony had once taken back Lu Mingyu's armor, saying it was too dirty and needed to be cleaned up. So he gave Lu Mingyu the other suit instead. He respected the names Lu Mingyu had given the armor, so Tony named the two sets the Barry Armor and the Allen Armor.

Now, he was about to put on the Allen Armor Lu Mingyu had worn before. It was filled with blue lightning. Looking at the armor, he smiled in satisfaction.

He knew that sometimes, resolving certain matters required the person at the center of them to step forward. But clearly, he had cast himself as the villain.

Because of his existence, Quicksilver had targeted him before joining the Avengers. Because of his existence, Quicksilver's first target now was also him.

Sometimes, he had to step forward and put an end to this.

"My God, Mr. Stark!" Spider-Man's voice rang out behind Tony. Without another word, Tony immediately put on the armor.

In that instant, blue Speed Force surged through Tony's body. He immediately entered a state of extreme speed, feeling immensely satisfied as he watched the world move in slow motion.

He quickly ran behind Spider-Man and knocked him unconscious.

Then he vanished from Avengers Tower and headed for Lu Mingyu's battlefield!
