Background / History

The Witch Clan originates from Pangu’s legacy. Its Twelve Ancestral Witches were formed from Pangu’s essence blood, inheriting Pangu Fortune and thirty percent of his Heaven-Opening Merit. Their ancestral stronghold, Pangu Temple on Mount Buzhou, was formed from Pangu’s Heart and absorbs Earth Turbid Qi and Primordial Fiendish Qi. 88

The clan’s early expansion began with the birth of 107 Innate Great Witches from the Pangu Blood Pool: eleven Top-Tier Great Witches, twenty-four Elite Great Witches, and seventy-two Ordinary Great Witches. Dijiang initially envisioned using this force to dominate the Primordial World. 88

Jiufeng redirected this ambition. By invoking Pangu’s authority and warning of a future in which conquest, mass slaughter, and karmic burden destroyed the clan, she persuaded the Ancestral Witches to abandon immediate hegemony. The clan instead cultivated through the Pangu Blood Pool, repaired Earth Veins, absorbed baleful energies, and accumulated Merit. 89 90

Jiufeng also prevented the rapid creation of weaker ordinary witches. She argued that uncontrolled population growth would force the clan to consume the Myriad Tribes, incur murderous karma, and create the conditions for a united opposition. The Ancestral Witches and Innate Great Witches agreed to delay creating descendants until reaching the Primordial Golden Immortal realm. 91

Despite this restraint, the Witch Clan’s conflict with Di Jun and Taiyi escalated into open war. The Twelve Ancestral Witches advanced to the Primordial Golden Immortal realm, elevated Jiufeng into the Thirteenth Ancestral Witch, and repeatedly attempted to eliminate the Sun Star brothers before they could establish the Demon Clan. 123 128

After suffering backlash from manifesting the Pangu True Body, the Ancestral Witches recovered in the Pangu Blood Pool while Jiufeng led the Great Witches in a campaign of recruitment, negotiated nonaggression, and selective conquest across the Central and Eastern Continents. 242 243

The clan formally declared itself to Heaven and Earth as a force responsible for purifying baleful and turbid energies, clearing Earth Veins, and protecting living beings. Culture and Policies

The Witch Clan is intensely loyal to Pangu and regards his acknowledgment as more valuable than cultivation or survival. Pangu’s recognition during the clan’s founding ceremony causes the witches to kneel, weep, and prostrate themselves before Mount Buzhou. 269

Its members are naturally combative, with both Ancestral Witches and Great Witches frequently engaging in battle or forcing sparring matches on other cultivators. Dijiang eventually orders them not to provoke the Yingzhou Immortal Island Lineage, recognizing the danger of alienating a vastly powerful faction. 154 155

Earth-Vein Development

The clan establishes Witch City near Pangu Hall, cultivates through the Pangu Blood Pool, clears Earth Veins, absorbs fiendish and turbid qi, and accumulates Merit across the Primordial World. 104

Conflict with Di Jun and Taiyi

After gaining a path to the Primordial Golden Immortal realm, the Twelve Ancestral Witches ambush Di Jun and Taiyi on the Sun Star. First Manifestation of the Pangu True Body

Expansion and Demon Clan Suppression

Conflict with the Three Pure Ones

After Dongwang Gong’s death, the Witch Clan clashes with the Three Pure Ones over his legacy. Jiufeng prevents an immediate escalation by threatening to impose immense murderous karma upon Kunlun through a sacrificial formation, but the confrontation remains unresolved. 279 280
