Background / History

Ye Han was an orphan in Soto City when memories of his former life returned on the eve of his Martial Soul awakening. Before reincarnating, he selected four starting advantages in a dream: Twin Super Martial Souls, Dragon God Bloodline, a Goddess Contract Guardian, and the Douluo Catalog Roulette System. 1 4

At the orphanage ceremony, Flander forced out Ye Han’s twin Martial Souls with his full Rank 75 power. Ye Han awakened the Golden Saint Dragon and Silver-White Aria, each strengthened by Golden Dragon King and Silver Dragon King bloodlines. 1 He subsequently rejected Flander’s recruitment attempt to Shrek Academy, publicly challenging its record and teaching methods until Flander threatened him. 2

Ye Guyi then appeared as his soul-contract guardian and drove Flander away. She revealed that she had come from ten thousand years in the future under a contract that required absolute sincerity toward Ye Han; harm to him would also injure her. 3

With Ye Guyi’s help, Ye Han seized the Blue Silver Emperor’s Soul Bone from Sacred Soul Village, captured Xiao Wu in Notting City, and defeated Tang San in a wagered duel. 5 6 7 He later gained his first two Soul Rings in the Star Dou Great Forest, crippled Ma Hongjun after the latter made lewd threats toward Ye Guyi and Xiao Wu, and had Ye Guyi defeat the retaliating Flander. 14 15 16 17

After obtaining resources through the Catalog Roulette, Ye Han traveled to Sunset Forest and negotiated access to the Ice Fire Yin Yang Well with Dugu Bo. There, he collected immortal herbs, strengthened Ye Guyi and Xiao Wu, tempered himself in the well, and accepted the sacrifice of the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings’ remnants. 22 28 29 30 32 33

Personality

Ye Han is calculating and unusually knowledgeable for his age, consistently exploiting foreknowledge of the continent’s future to secure Soul Bones, immortal herbs, and favorable confrontations. He sets ambitious cultivation goals, such as seeking a several-thousand-year first Soul Ring and reserving high-quality opportunities for his second Martial Soul. 4 17 29
