Background / History

Ye Han was an orphan in Soto City when memories of his former life returned on the eve of his Martial Soul awakening. Before reincarnating, he selected four starting advantages in a dream: Twin Super Martial Souls, Dragon God Bloodline, a Goddess Contract Guardian, and the Douluo Catalog Roulette System. 1 4

At the orphanage ceremony, Flander forced out Ye Han’s twin Martial Souls with his full Rank 75 power. Ye Han awakened the Golden Saint Dragon and Silver-White Aria, each strengthened by Golden Dragon King and Silver Dragon King bloodlines. 1 He subsequently rejected Flander’s recruitment attempt to Shrek Academy, publicly challenging its record and teaching methods until Flander threatened him. 2

Ye Guyi then appeared as his soul-contract guardian and drove Flander away. She revealed that she had come from ten thousand years in the future under a contract that required absolute sincerity toward Ye Han; harm to him would also injure her. 3

With Ye Guyi’s help, Ye Han seized the Blue Silver Emperor’s Soul Bone from Sacred Soul Village, captured Xiao Wu in Notting City, and defeated Tang San in a wagered duel. 5 6 7 He later gained his first two Soul Rings in the Star Dou Great Forest, crippled Ma Hongjun after the latter made lewd threats toward Ye Guyi and Xiao Wu, and had Ye Guyi defeat the retaliating Flander. 14 15 16 17

Ye Han subsequently protected the Three-Eyed Golden Lion from Qian Renxue’s group and formed a fate connection with her through her Eye of Destiny. Ye Han is calculating and unusually knowledgeable for his age, consistently exploiting foreknowledge of the continent’s future to secure Soul Bones, immortal herbs, and favorable confrontations.
