Background / History

Chen Yang transmigrated into the Primordial World and manifested as the spirit of an innate grand formation. Duobao Daoist protected him before and after his manifestation, supplied him with cultivation resources, and accepted him as a direct disciple on Golden Ao Island. Chen Yang’s gratitude toward Duobao became the foundation of his loyalty to the Jie Sect. 1

After the Mother Star Will awakened his extraordinary comprehension, Chen Yang chose an unprecedented path: forging formations into his own body. Duobao provided the Immortal-Slaying Formation Diagram, from which Chen Yang analyzed 83,700 formation models and created the All-Heavens Immortal-Destroying Grand Formation Formula. 1

Chen Yang won the Three Sects Tournament by merging the Immortal-Slaying Formation within and outside his body, despite nearly destroying himself in the process.
