When Tang San raises his voice at her after she tries to protect him, she becomes hurt and openly calls out his inability to recognize good intentions. Shrek Academy

During Shrek Academy’s entrance assessment, Xiao Wu loses consciousness, prompting Tang San’s violent response against Zhao Wuji. Lin Yan later identifies her condition as mental backlash rather than physical injury. 1 2

At Zhao Wuji’s request, Lin Yan uses Requiem Prayer to restore her mental exhaustion and follows with Holy Light Healing to replenish her stamina. Xiao Wu begins waking, but the restorative sensation is so pleasant that she initially believes she is dreaming. 3

Star Dou Great Forest Incident

When the Titan Giant Ape appears in the Star Dou Great Forest, it pulls Xiao Wu into its hand with Gravity Control and flees. Her expression before being taken is conflicted. 31

She later returns safely with Tang San and tells the group that a mysterious bovine roar frightened the Titan Giant Ape away, allowing her to escape and obtain a spirit ring. This explanation is fabricated to hide the truth of the incident. 33

Recovery and Growing Closeness with Lin Yan

Xiao Wu becomes increasingly comfortable around Lin Yan after he repeatedly heals and protects her. She massages him as an apology for Tang San, and later holds his head while he rests on her legs—an innocent but intimate-looking scene that Tang San misreads as a romantic relationship. 36
