Background / History

Kuzan joined the Marines at nineteen and became a Marine Admiral in his thirties, earning recognition as an exceptionally gifted talent. He is a former student of Zephyr and remains familiar enough with him to casually call him “Teacher,” despite frequently irritating him with his laid-back behavior. 12 15

At Marineford, Kuzan intervened when Loa’s uncontrolled freezing aura endangered the harbor, effortlessly freezing the waves before they could harm nearby Marines. Although initially dismissive of Loa, he soon recognized the unusual nature of the boy’s freezing power. 15 20
