The Chaos Astartes stared at the Bolter and began to consider the possibility that Abaddon had betrayed them, sending them to be used as fodder for the Imperium, just like the 20,000 Justaerin before him.

Damn it, I knew Abaddon wasn't really a loyal follower!

That bastard might be a spy at heart! He's using the Black Legion's name to gather everyone together and then find a chance to wipe them all out, handing them over to the Imperium as a pledge of allegiance!

Ten thousand years have passed, and I've always known this guy had ulterior motives! Those Black Crusade sounded impressive, but if you think about it carefully, weren't they all bark and no bite? They just finished off the Primarchs Imperium came back!

He spent ten thousand years in the Warp, and the only mutation he underwent was that his eyes glowed Golden Light. Who would believe there's nothing fishy about that?!

A Chaos Space Marines slammed his Bolter into the ground, turned to look in Abaddon's direction, and his gaze beneath his visor was likely scrutinizing him.

The guy next to him removed the bullets one by one to check if they were solid.

The magazine was pulled out, inspected, and then put back in.

... Is there anything wrong with this gun?

... It must be a misunderstanding.

Those Mortals just now got up and ran away, and their wounds healed so quickly. If Abaddon had that kind of ability, would he still be hanging around with them? It's unlikely.

Never mind, maybe there's something sinister going on with the Emperor's Envoy.

A group of Chaos Space Marines stood in the compartment of the Spear of Terra, looking at each other, clutching their Bolter magazines, feeling a little awkward, a little guilty, and a little apprehensive.

I feel like following Abaddon is increasingly pointless; the future looks bleak...

Abaddon, walking at the front of the line, was completely unaware of what was happening to his men behind him. Suddenly, he stopped and looked back at the passageway from which he had come.

Another roaring sound came from outside.

One loud bang after another, followed by vibrations. Dust fell from the bulkhead, and the light bulbs swayed and hummed.

It must be the Imperium Astartes that have boarded and crashed into us.

Second Company, impact sounds came from outside the ship's hull, each one belonging to an assault boat.

One breach after another was blasted open on the bow, aft, and sides, the sound of mechanical claws slamming into the hull creating a continuous chorus.

The Chaos Space Marines, guns at the ready, tensed every muscle in their bodies, on high alert.

The Mortals who had just gotten up had all run away, leaving the compartment empty except for them, and the sounds of impact and explosions getting closer and closer.

Abaddon walked up from the back of the line, went to the front, and turned back to reassure the others:

"Fine."

Abaddon remained calm.

He stood in the middle of the passage leading to the breach, raising the Talon of Horus towards the entrance. Dark red, malevolent light seeped from the gaps in his armor, and the Talon of Horus was sharp and menacing.

He is very powerful now.

The power of the Four Gods was poured into him.

Chosen of the Four Gods, the Chaos Warmaster, the Lord of the Black Legion, he stands here, his body shrouded in countless layers of Chaos Blessing, unafraid of any number of Astartes.

... and then Dante and his men rushed over.

--Full buffs plus Thirty Days buff.

There was a muffled thud from the direction of the breach, followed by a large hole being blasted open in the bulkhead.

Power Armor, predominantly gold and red, emerged from the smoke and dust, its entire body enveloped in Golden Light.

The Emperor's Blessing covered the armor, and he held a weapon of Holy Light in his hand.

Their aura had increased dramatically. The Thirty Days Immortality buff was ingrained in their bones, as if Emperor's Champions were available in bulk. Each of them was enveloped in an invisible holy aura.

Dante entered and immediately blasted the Terminators at the front backward with a Heavy Bolter.

The Terminators returned fire, and the explosive grenade struck Dante in the chest and detonated.

Dante was thrown back a step by the blast and looked down at his chest.

It doesn't hurt.

He raised his head and charged at Abaddon again.

Suddenly, I didn't want to die anymore. I had to kill all these remnants of Horus before I died.

The Blood Angels and the former Sons of Horus were locked in a fierce battle.

Enemies meeting are bound to be filled with hatred.

The Blood Angels showed no mercy, their eyes bloodshot with rage, their battle cries shaking the heavens.

Abaddon narrowed his eyes.

The Golden Light emanating from these people is the same color as the halo of that Emperor's Envoy; it must be something the False Emperor's side put together again!

I heard that the False Emperor will come up with something like Emperor chosen emperor.

Hmph, and he says he's not an evil god.

Before he could think it through, more and more Power Armor poured in through the breach.

Not only the Blood Angels, but also those in yellow Power Armor, dark red armor, and iron gray Power Armor, poured in from three different directions simultaneously.

The Lamenters, the Flesh Tearers, and the Blood Knights arrived.

Dante swung his Power Sword in a wide arc, slashing down at Abaddon.

Abaddon raised his claws to block, and the claw blades collided with the sword blades, creating a trail of sparks.

Abaddon parried the sword and tried to push it away, Dante's second sword had already struck, swift as lightning.

Abaddon dodged to the side, but Dante's third sword followed, sweeping across Abaddon's shoulder armor and splitting it in two.

Abaddon staggered backward in disbelief, Dante pursued him with another sword strike.

"Horus! Horus!" Dante roared as he hacked and slashed, ignoring his hoarse voice, "You escaped in Terra back then, now we'll make you pay in blood!!!"

The surrounding Blood Angels also went berserk.

He grabbed his Chainsword and charged into the ranks of the Chaos Space Marines.

Terminators.

Assault Armor against Justaerin Terminators Armor? Don't be afraid! The advantage is mine!!!

The Chainsword whirred as it swept horizontally, and the Black Legion's Terminators raised his shield to block it, the chainsaw scraping against the shield and sending Mars flying.

The Blood Angels didn't stop; it struck again with a second blow!

The shield cracked.

The third thrust went straight into the gap in the Chaos Space Marines's chest armor.

The Chainsword ripped through armor plates and flesh, and the Chaos Star Warrior roared as he fell.

The Blood Angels warrior drew his sword, kicked the man away, and turned to pounce on the next one.

The Flesh Tearers possess a unique physical advantage, making them significantly larger than ordinary Space Marines; their size is almost comparable to that of Terminators.

When they rammed their shoulder armor into the Chaos Space Marines, it was like bulldozing; one Black Legion Terminators after another was knocked back.

Before they could even get their footing, the Chainaxe of the Flesh Tearers on the left came crashing down, followed by the Power Sword of the man on the right.

The Chaos Space Marines used his sword to block the axe, Power Sword landed on his shoulder, severing his entire arm and instantly costing him an arm.

The Flesh Tearers added a kick, shoving the man into the adjacent compartment, and then unleashed a burst of explosives.

Those Lamenters are usually quiet and reserved, but on the battlefield they become killing machines.

Phoros led the Lamenters from the other side of the passageway and pushed them in.

If the Chainsword gets chipped, switch to the Bolter; if you run out of bombs, switch to the Power Sword; if the Power Sword runs out of power, switch to the Power Axe.

Lin En armed them to the teeth; they had no shortage of equipment and weapons.

A Lamenters was shot through the chest by a bomb. He had barely glanced down when Golden Light surged up and sealed the wound.

Then the Lamenters looked up and grinned at the Chaos Space Marines had fired the shot.

We have sugar daddies, do you?

After Horus died, you were orphans, but we weren't.

The Chaos Space Marines paused noticeably, but the Lamenters pounced on him again.
