Dante knocked Abaddon to the ground with three punches.

Dante and his group of Astartes immediately pinned Abaddon to the ground.

The other members of the Black Legion were also killed or captured.

That's about it.

They defeated the Black Legion and captured Abaddon alive.

The Astartes nearby found a power shackle specifically designed for Astartes and firmly handcuffed Abaddon's hands.

Dante stood up, pulled Abaddon off the deck, and handed him over to the Blood Angels beside him to guard.

Two Blood Angels held him down on either side, while a Company Commander kept a gun pointed at his head.

The weapons and the Talon of Horus were removed and tossed aside.

Then Dante took out his communicator and contacted Lin En.

"Lord Lin En, Abaddon has been captured. The Black Legion has either surrendered or been captured. The Spear of Terra has been recovered."

Lin En received Dante's message and scoffed.

Laughter came through the communicator. Abaddon heard it, looked up sharply, and stared at Dante.

"Lord Dante, please put it on speakerphone." Lin En asked Dante to turn on speakerphone.

Dante glanced at Abaddon, switched the communicator to speakerphone, and held it up to Abaddon.

Lin En's tone was casual, as if he had just heard a not-so-funny joke, "Brother Dun, everyone says you're Chosen of the Four Gods, but I don't think you're up to the task."

Abaddon heard Lin En's voice and began to struggle again.

He lunged forward, trying to break free from the two Blood Angels, but the Blood Angels Company Commander the gun mercilessly shot him in the knee.

Abaddon lost his balance and was then pinned to the ground by two Blood Angels.

Abaddon roared furiously, the veins on his neck bulging.

He is now blessed by the Four Gods; he is Chosen of the Four Gods, the Chaos Warmaster, and the Lord of the Black Legion!

But these Astartes held him firmly to the ground like iron clamps.

Golden Light seeped down from their armor and shone on him, making the dark red light of the Four Gods ' Blessing seem as if it had been splashed with cold water, hissing and growing weaker.

how so?

Has the Emperor really become that powerful?

Strong enough to crush the Four Gods?

Abaddon gritted his teeth.

Lin En chuckled again.

This Chosen of the Four Gods seems a bit questionable.

"Alright, Brother Dun, stop brainstorming. Don't be afraid, I won't kill you. Lord Dante, take him back and lock him up. We'll deal with them after we've finished fighting here and ask the Lord Regent and the Emperor for their opinions. Next, we'll go support the other lines of defense. How are things going on your end?"

"We have no problem on our end," Dante readily agreed.

Lin En nodded. "Alright, then you guys pack up and come back. You don't need to worry about the situation inside the Spear of the Emperor; Aurelian will handle it when he gets back."

"Roger that." Dante put away the communicator, glanced down at Abaddon, and said, "Take him away."

Abaddon was dragged up from the ground by four Astartes, his arms twisted behind his back, and pushed toward the hangar.

He took a couple of steps and looked back; Dante followed behind, his clothes gleaming in gold.

Abaddon turned his face back, clenching his teeth even tighter.

*******

Abaddon was captured, and the remaining Vengeful Spirit turned and ran.

"The Warmaster is missing! The Warmaster is missing!"

"All units disengage, withdraw!!"

The escort cruiser hurriedly moved closer to the Mothership, then turned and fled towards the Imperium Nihilus.

That Emperor's Envoy is truly extraordinary; a battle of the level of the Gods' Struggle is beyond the capabilities of a group of ordinary Astartes.

They need to go back and find reinforcements, to summon the Daemon Primarchs!

Anyone will do, but at the very least, they must be a Demigod!

But how could Lin En just let them get away like that?

Lin En stood on the bridge of the Night Goddess, watching the red dots on the star map turn around in unison, and smirked slightly.

Trying to run? Too late!

Lin En took a step forward and slammed his hand on the communications console. "Full fleet, give chase! All ship guns, fire freely! Leave as many ships as you can! Don't let those bastards get away!"

Dante and his companions returned to the fleet of the Blood Angels and charged forward like wild dogs released from their cages.

The remaining battleships followed suit with a salvo.

Various kinds of Lance and torpedoes fell into the retreating Chaos Fleet.

The Lance grazed the stern of the Vengeful Spirit, shattering countless Escort Frigate that followed into pieces.

Various ships pushed their Engine to the redline and chased after the retreating Chaos cruiser.

The Purple Carapace Chapter was also as ferocious as wolves and tigers.

These ships don't carry those air-eating demons anymore.

Countless Chaos cruisers and destroyers were surrounded by the swarm of insects, their hulls crawling with them.

The swarm of insects tore through the ship's Shield and crawled inside.

The Chaos Warship panicked, lost their formation, and the fleeing array instantly turned into a scattered red dot on the star map.

The captain of the Vengeful Spirit roared, "Maximum Shield power! Forget about the ships behind us, retreat at full speed!"

The Vengeful Spirit, relying on the Gloriana's tough armor, managed to escape after several volleys of fire.

The dozen or so escort ships behind it were not so lucky. One after another, they were caught in the salvo of the Imperial Navy and exploded into clusters of orange-red fireballs in the void.

Lin En stood on the bridge, watching the red dots on the star map disappear in patches, and said coldly, "Keep chasing them, don't stop."

They couldn't catch up with the Gloriana-class Battleship, but starting today, he would reduce the Black Legion to just one Gloriana-class Battleship.

The Vengeful Spirit didn't slow down; relying on the Gloriana's strength, it withstood the pursuit and fled towards the Imperium Nihilus.

Lin En glanced at the distance; the Vengeful Spirit was almost out of firing range.

He clicked his tongue.

"Never mind, let it go."

Anyway, Abaddon has already been captured, and the Chaos Primarchs are all attacking other directions of Terra, so they don't have time to bother with them. Even if they go back, they won't cause any trouble.

"Take care of the rest who didn't escape. Every ship you take down is a battle achievement. Arrest those who surrender, and kill all those who don't."

"Yes!"

The Imperial Navy was overjoyed and continued its pursuit of the scattered Chaos ships, eliminating the slower ones one by one.

The Chaos destroyer, which refused to surrender, was swarmed by the Zerg, its Engine destroyed, and it drifted sideways through the void.

Immediately afterwards, many Chaos Warship surrendered.

After ten thousand years of living in the Warp, the Black Legion has taken in all sorts of trash; frankly, they don't have many tough nuts to crack anymore.

Most of Horus's true veterans were dead, and the most elite batch of over 20,000 Justaerin Terminators were buried inside the Rampart Terra by Abaddon. The new recruits that followed were just filling in the numbers.

Upon closer examination, the truly elite force consisted only of Abaddon's personal guards.

Abaddon was captured, and most of his personal guards were killed or captured as well.

The remaining group didn't even have the courage to fight to the death; if they could escape, they would run; if they couldn't, they would surrender.

Many warships immediately raised white flags.

The Blood Angels boarded the ship, disarmed them, and then imprisoned them to be put on trial after the war.

Lin En was watching them clean up the battlefield.

The red dots on the star map were gradually eliminated, turning either white or gray, until they became fewer and fewer, leaving only a few still desperately trying to escape.

There's no escaping it; there are over a dozen green dots chasing after each red dot.

Then Calgar arrived!

The Macragge's Honour was the first to charge into the battlefield; this 26-kilometer-long Gloriana shot into the fray like an arrow.

The projection of the Machine Spirit was directly displayed on the screen in front of Lin En: "Lin En --I'm here! How are you, hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm--?!"

Suddenly, a loading screen appeared above the head of the twin-tailed Machine Spirit.

What's going on?!

The projection of the twin-tailed Machine Spirit shifted to the right of the screen, as if craning its neck to look out.

She stared at the battlefield for two seconds, her twin ponytails drooping down.

Why are you all cleaning up the mess?

Finished?!

"The fighting's over, all that's left is to clean up the battlefield," Lin En replied with a smile.

Then Calgar also cut in.

The bridge view of the Macragge's Honour pops up to the right of the screen, with Calgar standing in front of the tactical console.

Calgar, one hand on his hip and the other pinching his brow, couldn't bear to look at the battlefield. "I tried my best to get here within two days, how did you finish so quickly?"

"Isn't fast enough?"

"It makes us look silly."

"Ha ha."
