Background and History

Blue Silver traveled among humans while seeking a way to advance beyond the limits of a Soul Beast. In a border town near Star Dou Great Forest, she distributed food to the poor and healed injured neighbors. Yue Guan and Gui Mei found her there while searching on Qian Xunji’s orders 22 23.

Qian Xunji invited her to Spirit Hall rather than taking her Soul Ring or Soul Bone. He showed her the Angel Codex, which describes a cultivation path for Soul Beasts in human form, and told her that Lin Fan knew her possible fate. She initially declined, then went to Spirit City to hear Lin Fan’s account for herself 24 25.

Lin Fan described a future in which she meets Tang Hao, bears Tang San, and sacrifices herself to save them during Spirit Hall’s pursuit. He also told her that the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well could greatly accelerate her cultivation. After hearing him, Blue Silver agreed to stay at Spirit Hall in an effort to change her fate 26 27 28. She was introduced to its elders and chose to remain with Lin Fan while Bibi Dong’s party searched for the Well 30.
