[Previously, you gained a bodyguard in the Snow Empress and an enemy in the Ice Empress.]

[Spirits rarely survived, and the conditions for their birth were extraordinarily harsh. The Snow Empress had survived the Soul Beasts of the Far North only because everything had fallen into place for her.]

[Once a spirit was fully formed, however, it offered little benefit to Soul Beasts.]

[You gave the Snow Empress a rough account of what had happened to Su Yiner in the last Simulation. By the time you finished, she was furious, and the entire Far North resonated with her anger.]

["Spirits like us are born when our minds fully form. From then on, we're Soul Beasts, not rare treasures. But what you described can happen. Though we lose our value as treasures once we're fully formed, our essence is still a potent tonic for certain exceptionally powerful Soul Beasts." As the Snow Empress explained, the Ice Empress trembled beside her. The Snow Empress's aura was terrifying, as if she might lash out and kill someone at any moment.]

[Once you understood the whole story, you mourned Su Yiner's death. What you didn't say was that Su Yiner was also the ultimate tonic, carrying the fortune of the world, Soul Beasts, and humanity. If the Silver Dragon King couldn't resist her, even the gods of the Divine Realm would probably covet her.]

[After learning what you wanted to know, you wanted to go home and be alone. You hadn't experienced Su Wu's simulated life, but you still felt sympathy and anger on his behalf. In your eyes, the Silver Dragon King had no right to be the princess of Soul Beasts. One day, you would skin her and tear out her tendons as an offering to Su Yiner and Su Wu.]

[You enjoyed the Snow Empress's company, but you said goodbye and prepared to leave the Far North.]

[The Snow Empress looked plainly reluctant to let you go. She wanted to ask you to stay, but you were firm and turned into a breeze to leave.]

[The Snow Empress drew on the Power of Heaven and Earth to stop you. It was the first time anyone had managed to block you, and you realized you weren't truly invincible. Enough Power of Heaven and Earth could restrain you. Whether it could kill you, you didn't yet know.]

[The Snow Empress didn't hurt you. She insisted on leaving with you, refusing to budge. Perhaps hearing that Su Yiner had been eaten as a tonic had shaken her so badly that she felt a fierce urge to protect you, a fellow spirit.]

[The Ice Empress was furious. She looked like a helpless wife watching you steal away her future bride.]

[You were in a bind. With the Snow Empress being so insistent, you had a feeling Ah Yin would lose her mind if you brought two women home.]

[You had only spent a few months with Ah Yin, but during the month before you parted, she had hinted at her feelings for you. You weren't blind, and your powers of observation were sharp. Of course you had noticed her little gestures.]

[Unfortunately, your resistance was useless. The Snow Empress followed you out of the Far North, and the Ice Empress followed her. Miserably, you left with the Far North's two great rulers in tow.]

[Once you were outside the Far North, you noticed that the Snow Empress's hold on you had vanished. After some thought, you reached a conclusion: she could probably use the Power of Heaven and Earth to seal you only within the Far North. By the same token, others elsewhere might be able to do it too.]

[In the second year of the Simulation, you returned to the Blue Silver Forest with the Ice Empress and the Snow Empress. To your surprise, Ah Yin was only a little jealous when she saw the two of them. She didn't blame you.]

[To Ah Yin, it was normal for Soul Beasts to have several mates. Powerful Soul Beasts having multiple partners was only natural. She didn't expect to be the only one you loved; she just hoped you would love her a little more. Perhaps that was why Su Wu had been willing to accept Ah Yin.]

"Ah, damn it! Can you stop flaunting your romance in front of me? Any more of this and I'll be stuffed!" Su Ming cursed at the Simulation. Did they know how painful it was to watch himself being lovey-dovey right in front of him? It was like someone parading his wife around just to taunt him.

In the flowerpot, Ah Yin had recovered a little of her vitality. She bent a vine in greeting and looked at Su Ming in confusion.

[The Snow Empress and Ice Empress surveyed the Blue Silver Forest with curiosity. Even the faintest trace of Ferocious Beast aura that slipped from them made every Blue Silver Grass and the Blue Silver King tremble.]

[You introduced the Snow Empress to Ah Yin. When Ah Yin learned that the Snow Empress was a fellow spirit, she felt her place as your principal wife was in danger.]

[Ah Yin felt wronged, but she said nothing. If the Snow Empress was one of your own kind, Ah Yin supposed it was only natural for her to be your principal wife.]

[When you came to introduce the Ice Empress, you hesitated. Her scorpion tail was pointed straight at the back of your head.]

[After weighing your words carefully, you chose to play it safe when introducing the Ice Empress.]

[In your introduction, you greatly elevated the Ice Empress's standing, heaped praise on her, and hinted in a roundabout way that she and the Snow Empress were a couple.]

[The Ice Empress puffed out her small chest proudly. Then the Snow Empress smacked her on the head.]

[You quietly retreated behind Ah Yin, keeping everyone between you and them so you wouldn't get caught in the crossfire.]

[It was a good plan, but the Ice Empress wasn't interested in being reasonable. After the Snow Empress tapped you on the head, the Ice Empress gave you a beating. The Snow Empress then smacked the Ice Empress and fussed over you, so the Ice Empress beat you again. The Snow Empress smacked her again and fussed over you again. The three of you fell into a vicious cycle: if you weren't getting hit, the Ice Empress was.]

Su Ming covered his face. He couldn't take it anymore. But when he pictured Su Liu being beaten by the petite Ice Empress while the towering Snow Empress protected him, tears of envy finally spilled down his cheeks.

"Su Liu, you bastard! You absolute bastard! Why couldn't I be the one experiencing something that good?"

Ah Yin: Huh? (●-●) What was wrong with Su Ming now?

[After enduring a thorough mauling, you finally escaped the two empresses' clutches.]

[You were sure your shameless original self outside the Simulation was dying of envy. You raised your middle finger at him and said, "Go on, be jealous, you bastard. Your grandpa Su Liu will enjoy it for you first. Hey, have you ever been stepped on by a petite girl? Ever had your face buried in a woman's chest? Heh heh heh." You wore the smug look of a man who had finally gotten his way.]

"Ah, damn it! You bastard! Su Liu, you bastard! I hope you die horribly!" Su Ming snapped. He really was jealous. Who wouldn't want a petite mommy roughing him up while a towering mommy comforted him against her chest?
