Background / History

Sean was born with talent in the Life, Death, and Light Laws. Following a Three-element Soul Mutation in the Qingyuan Material Plane, he cultivated Life and Death in parallel; by the beginning of the story, both had reached the Asura level. 1

The Life Law became a major part of Sean's combat style during his conflict with the Four Divine Beasts Family. Its vines could kill ordinary Highgods from afar, while its plant-based concealment let him merge his aura into a tree and evade detection. 16 20

Sean's Life–Death fusion reached the Paragon realm during the Plane Battlefield conflict. Although this granted Willpower to his Life and Death clones, it did not mean that his Life Law alone had reached Grand Perfection. 32

After Sean became a Death Lord God, Faith Power accelerated his Life Law cultivation to the Paragon bottleneck. He later refined Inas's Life Sovereign Spark, acquiring a Life Lord God clone while his Life Law's profound mysteries remained incomplete. 116 135 139

Abilities & Characteristics

Plant Manipulation

At a sufficiently high level, the Life Law can manifest, control, and regenerate vines over a wide area.

• Sean creates vines around distant enemies and drives them through their heads, killing large groups of ordinary Highgods. 20
• Vines can spread across the ground, merge into terrain, and be used to control the battlefield. 20
• In his spar with Youming, Sean repeatedly regenerated destroyed vines and formed a jade-green cocoon more than one hundred meters wide around his opponent. 116
• The technique is especially effective for binding and trapping; Life, Light, Earth, and Wind are identified as the strongest paths for such restraint techniques. 116

Plant-Aura Concealment

A Life Law expert can conceal themself by merging their aura with nearby vegetation.

• Sean merged completely with a tree while observing Four Divine Beasts Family members. 16
• The concealment is difficult to detect unless the observer has exceptional soul attainments. 16
• It requires nearby living plants, making it more restrictive than Dark Law concealment. Plants lacking self-aware souls also cannot normally travel through Teleportation Arrays. 16 61

Healing and Soul Defense

The Life Law possesses powerful restorative and soul-oriented properties.

• Life-aligned mystical spells are noted for healing living beings; among the commonly cultivated elemental paths, the Life Law has the strongest healing potential. 123
• Its soul defense is considered somewhat stronger than that of the Death Rule and Fate Rule. 122
• The Life Law can display soul-related traits resembling the Death Rule, as seen in the characteristics of Sean's Soul Poison. 84
• Healing has limits: Wyatt, a Life Law Paragon using Life Main God Power, could not confidently remove Sean's Soul Poison after it had fused with victims' souls. 84

Life–Death Fusion

Sean's Life Law can fuse with his Death Rule, producing a separate and more powerful set of profound mysteries.

• The fusion initially manifested as intertwined gray-black and vibrant green energies around Sean. 1
• Reaching the Paragon realm through this fusion granted Willpower to both the Life and Death Highgod clones. 32
• The fusion's breakthrough is distinct from mastering the Life Law alone. 32 116

Life Lord God Power

After refining a Life Sovereign Spark, Sean can use Life Lord God Power.

• Sean's Life clone gains Lord God status after refining Inas's Life Sovereign Spark. 135
• In his battle against Augusta, Sean's Life Sovereign Power and vine-based attacks successfully wound an opponent with an exceptionally powerful body. 139
• Despite this power, Sean acknowledges that his Life Law's profound mysteries have not yet reached completion. 139
