Ch. 301Child, your future is free

Hols thanked his Father for granting him freedom and chose to leave the Orks to experience more of life. After entering the Flames of Vengeance, he fought the Aeldari who had come to retrieve him and overwhelmed them while holding back.

  • Hols thanked his Father for giving him life and chose to pursue his own path rather than remain with the Orks.
  • Hols piloted his Ork warship into the invisible hangar, then left it in his Ancient Aeldari form to meet Osuwiss and her companions.
  • Hols charged at Parker Pan and Tyranda, mistaking their drawn weapons for an invitation to play.
  • Hols broke Tyranda’s banshee razor and knocked her down as Parker Pan’s Rune Sword attacks failed to stop him.
  • Parker Pan realized Hols had easily countered his killing move and that the group survived only because Hols was holding back.

Ch. 302A lick

Hols stopped fighting after Ovisus intervened and eagerly asked to experience Aeldari culture and food. As the Aeldari debated whether to kill or restrain him, Ovisus tried to divine his future but found fate difficult to read near the child of destiny.

  • Hols licked Tyranda after winning their fight, then prepared to attack Parker Pan until Ovisus stopped him.
  • Hols told Ovisus he wanted to eat tasty food, watch performances, and visit the Craftworld, and she calmed him by offering delicacies.
  • Parker Pan learned from Ovisus that subduing Hols would cost Yriel two to three years of his lifespan.
  • Hols transformed into an enormous Bitey Squig and ate so much that the Aeldari had to prepare more food.
  • Tyranda and Parker Pan opposed killing Hols, but most Aeldari warriors still considered him a threat.
  • Yriel offered to restrain Hols, while Ovisus tried to divine his future and found fate elusive near the child of destiny.

Ch. 303The True Child of Destiny

Ovisus discovered that Hols was the true Child of Destiny and vowed to protect him while keeping his identity secret. Meanwhile, the Tyranids launched a major assault on Ork V, where Boss Slick’s growing forces fought them to a stalemate.

  • Ovisus re-entered her prophetic trance and learned that Hols’s fate shaped the destiny of every race in the universe.
  • Ovisus and Yriel agreed to conceal Hols’s identity, and Ovisus swore to protect him and show him Aeldari art.
  • The Flames of Vengeance left Octarius as Boss Slick expanded Ork V’s workshops, shipyards, and fleets by recycling battlefield wreckage and growing new Orks.
  • The Great Devourer moved its fortress closer to Ork V and sent a force of five hundred thousand Tyranid vessels to reinforce its attack.
  • Rottooth, Dio, and Crooked Mouth led Ork fleets on three fronts against the Tyranids, whose losses remained lower overall, though Screw Clan ships performed far better.

Ch. 304Orbital collision

Boss Slick discovered that the Tyranids were using a Bio-planet to force Ork IV toward Ork V, threatening a collision that would destroy all three planets. He decided to commit every remaining resource and defeat the Great Devourer in a final all-out battle.

  • Crooked Mouth warned Boss Slick that the Tyranid offensive was stronger than before, and Boss Slick inspected the battlefield before teleporting to the Space Fortress.
  • Boss Slick used the fortress radar in Gravity Mode and discovered that Ork IV and Number 1 had been pulled from their orbits, with Ork IV on course to collide with Ork V.
  • Boss Slick identified a Tyranid Bio-planet gripping Ork IV and pushing Ork V toward the collision, realizing the Great Devourer was fighting to the death.
  • Boss Slick told Dio, Crooked Mouth, and Rottooth to keep wearing down the Tyranids while he prepared to go all in.
  • The Greenskins answered with a Waaagh and renewed their assault, while Boss Slick prepared to use every trump card against the Great Devourer.

Ch. 305Psychic Power Convergence Tower

Boss Slick built a Psychic Power Convergence Tower on Ork V and used it to gather Waaagh energy from across Octaria. His punch shattered the Warp Storms and the Great Devourer’s projection, allowing distant Ork fleets to arrive for the Octarius Campaign.

  • Boss Slick requisitioned the output of three Matter Generators and built the Psychic Power Convergence Tower in one day.
  • Boss Slick wore a crown fitted with a gemstone that blocked psychic influence and used it to see Chaos Sorcerers fueling the Warp Storm with sacrifices.
  • Boss Slick gathered Waaagh energy from Orks throughout Octaria, including Kuka and his Weirdboys, until he had enough power to strike.
  • Boss Slick punched toward the sky, clearing Ork V’s skies and unleashing a Warp-wide Waaagh that destroyed the Thousand Sons’ rituals and tore apart the Great Devourer’s projection.
  • The ritual backlash destroyed the Sorcerers and their Warp world, while the Great Devourer’s wounded projection caused a rift that destroyed many Tyranid Bio-ships.
  • Iron Claw, Rambo, and Nobs arrived with distant Ork warships through the rift, drawn to the powerful Waaagh.

Ch. 306A million-ship fleet

Iron Claw and Rambo brought a fleet of over a million ships, allowing Boss Slick to counterattack the Tyranids across the system. As the Greenskins drove the Tyranid fleet toward Ork IV, Boss Slick discovered Daft had left the Tarrok System and learned that Hols had disappeared as well.

  • Iron Claw reported destroying Tyranids in several star systems, and Rambo arrived with a fleet of over a million ships after occupying every system he could reach.
  • The Greenskins overwhelmed Tyranid forces on Number 2 and Number 3, while Ork IV's poisonous spores and defenses decimated Ork landing forces.
  • Boss Slick recovered from his soul's injuries through the Waaagh! Field and sent Ork fleets from three directions to attack Ork IV.
  • Dio and the Ork fleets tore through the Tyranid formation with heavy cannon fire and missiles, forcing the surviving swarm to regroup around Ork IV.
  • Boss Slick confronted Daft in the advancing fleet and learned that Daft had left the Tarrok System after repairing and modifying the Mighty Big Boss.
  • Daft told Boss Slick that Hols had also left the Tarrok System, accompanied by a Nob.

Ch. 307A brute's punch

Boss Slick struggled to counter the Tyranids' psychic defenses and specialized bio-ships, then gathered Screw Clan leaders to plan a coordinated assault. He assigned Rambo, Rottooth, and Iron Claw key roles as the fleet prepared to attack Ork IV.

  • Boss Slick saw that Hols's assigned guards had joined the fighting and postponed searching for him as the battle for Octaria reached its most critical stage.
  • Boss Slick's fleet encircled Ork IV and the Tyranid force, but Tyranid psychic energy and new bio-ships threatened Ork warships and their Dimensional Rumble Cannons.
  • Boss Slick called the Screw Clan's elite members into a psychic group chat and proposed an all-out attack.
  • Rambo volunteered to command the Dimensional Rumble Cannon volley, and Boss Slick told him to teleport his Boyz aboard Boss Slick's Ship.
  • Rottooth accepted command of the Ork fleets tasked with attacking the Synaptic World Devourers, while Iron Claw prepared to land at Ork IV's north pole and draw out the Tyranids.

Ch. 308Leading the charge

Boss Slick led the four Mighty Big Bosses into battle against the Great Devourer’s Tyranids, whose ranged attacks could not harm the mechs because of Khorne’s blessing. The Great Devourer deployed its new Ripper Beasts, but the mechs and Dio’s fleet fought them off as the assault continued.

  • Boss Slick set a three-day deadline to destroy the planet-sized Tyranid and linked the four pilots’ minds before leading the Mighty Big Bosses toward Ork IV.
  • The Great Devourer’s Tyranid barrage failed to damage the mechs, and it discovered that Khorne’s blessing made ranged attacks ineffective against them.
  • The Great Devourer unleashed five thousand newly bred Ripper Beasts, sending the first thousand to intercept the mechs.
  • Dio’s fleet destroyed most of the first wave, but several hundred Ripper Beasts survived and surrounded the Mighty Big Bosses.
  • Boss Slick parried the Ripper Beasts’ attacks and cut them apart with an extended Phase Longsword while Daft fought beside him in the No. 1 Mech.
  • A Ripper Beast ambushed Daft from behind, but a shell blasted it apart before its Tyranid Blade could strike him.

Ch. 309Punched clean through

The Ork Fleet broke through the Tyranid defenses and launched a devastating assault on Ork IV’s north pole. The Tyranid Fleet neared collapse after six hours, while the Orks gained control of the battlefield.

  • Bad Gambler and Crooked Mouth fought off Ripper Beasts as Boss Slick spread the Blood God's protection from ranged attacks across the Ork assault fleet.
  • Rambo ordered the Dimensional Rumble Cannons to sever both claws of the Planetary World Devourer, clearing the Orks’ path.
  • Iron Claw led ten thousand warships in a Waaagh! charge, and five thousand ships broke through to crash into Ork IV’s north pole.
  • The Orks poured from the wreckage, formed a Steel Torrent, and swept through the Tyranid forces at the north pole.
  • Iron Claw killed a winged Hive Tyrant by throwing his Killer Axe, while the Screw Clan’s troops overwhelmed the Tyranid Swarm.
  • After six hours, the Tyranid Fleet was close to collapse, with more than eighty thousand ships lost and one Synaptic World Devourer destroyed; the Orks had lost fewer than five thousand warships.

Ch. 310Securing victory

The Orks overwhelmed the Tyranid Fleet around Ork IV and began destroying the planet to stop the Planetary World Devourer from pushing it into Ork V. After a bomb shattered the planet’s core and the Dimensional Rumble Cannons tore open its crust, Boss Slick called on Dio to fire the upgraded Dio Cannon.

  • The Ork Fleet grew to five hundred thousand warships while the Tyranid Fleet above Ork IV dwindled to around fifty thousand, and Boss Slick ordered full-scale bombardment.
  • Iron Claw planted a huge bomb at Ork IV’s north pole, painted Gork’s face on it, then teleported back to a warship before it detonated.
  • The bomb struck Ork IV’s core, triggering massive earthquakes and destabilizing the planet.
  • Rottooth positioned the Ork Fleet and used the Dimensional Rumble Cannons to tear open weak points in Ork IV’s crust, sending magma into space.
  • Boss Slick told Dio to fire the upgraded Dio Cannon, which now had a heavy-fusion reactor to power it.

Ch. 311Planetary Detonation

Slick used the Dio Cannon and Boss Slick’s upgraded C’tan Shard Cannon to destroy Ork IV and kill the Planetary World Devourer inside it. As he celebrated, he realized he had been misled and discovered another Planetary World Devourer had pushed Number 1 into the star.

  • Dio fired the Dio Cannon through Ork IV’s mantle and core, killing the Planetary World Devourer and stripping the planet of its propulsion.
  • Boss Slick fired a two-in-one C’tan Shard Cannon blast that shattered Ork IV into meteor fragments.
  • Slick began considering how to announce his victory, but psychic slaps broke his triumphant haze.
  • Boss Slick inspected the Octaria System through the Waaagh! field and realized something had hidden important information from him.
  • Boss Slick spotted a Planetary World Devourer swallowing Number 1 after pushing it into the star, which triggered violent solar activity.

Ch. 312Supernova Explosion

Boss Slick called on Gork and Mork to stop the supernova stream unleashed by the Tyranids, while Kidd and Luo Wen arrived in the Ork Battle Star at the last moment and helped shield him. The Great Devourer ordered its fleets to retreat from Octaria, but planned to seek easier prey and eventually find a way to counter the Orks.

  • The Tyranids compressed Octaria's star, and Boss Slick realized its supernova stream would strike his fleet before he could protect his followers.
  • Boss Slick called on Gork and Mork, whose green Warp Rift opened as the star erupted toward him.
  • Kidd and Luo Wen's Ork Battle Star emerged from teleportation turbulence and appeared in the stream's path, buying Boss Slick time for Gork and Mork's power to catch it.
  • Boss Slick discovered Kidd had piloted the Ork Battle Star from the Fengrao Star System, and the Greenskins celebrated as he defeated the Great Devourer's strike.
  • The Great Devourer ordered its Tyranid fleets to retreat from Octaria and considered targeting humanity and searching for a way to counter the Orks.

Ch. 313The fall of the Unbroken Defensive Line

After the Orks’ victory at Octarius, Goldtooth and Grom attacked the Unbroken Defensive Line, leaving the Eustali Subsector on the verge of falling. Fabricator-General Plex failed to secure reinforcements from Sahansen, who secretly organized a retreat and fabricated intelligence about threats to the Nachmund Gauntlet.

  • The Great Devourer ordered the Tyranids to prioritize ambushes against the Imperium, destroy discovered Craftworlds, and attack Necron dynasties for information about the Orks.
  • Goldtooth and Grom mourned missing the battle at Octarius, then redirected their intertwined forces toward the Unbroken Defensive Line after Duncehead urged them to catch up with Boss Slick.
  • Ork fleets led by Goldtooth and Grom assaulted the Eustali Subsector, where many lesser subsectors had already fallen.
  • Fabricator-General Plex asked Sahansen for reinforcements to defend Forge World Eustali, but Sahansen refused and blamed Plex for the Adeptus Mechanicus fleet’s unauthorized attack on the Orks.
  • Sahansen secretly prepared to withdraw the Imperium’s surviving forces and fabricated intelligence claiming that the Nachmund Gauntlet and Vigilus were under threat.

Ch. 314Eustali Battle

Grom’s Ork Fleet invaded Eustali, overwhelming the Adeptus Mechanicus defenses and laying siege to Plex’s Hive City. Duncehead’s rock music and powerful weapons helped drive the Greenskins through the city gates, where the battle continued.

  • Sahansen left Plex’s Unbroken Defensive Line to reinforce the Nachmund Gauntlet as Grom’s Ork Fleet arrived at Eustali.
  • Duncehead located the source of the navigation interference at Eustali’s largest Hive City, and Grom led the fleet through the planet’s orbital defenses.
  • Duncehead’s rock music drove the Orks into a frenzy, sending more than a hundred warships plunging toward the planet and overwhelming the Skitarii defenses.
  • After three days of siege, Grem’s Zzap Gun blasted through the Hive City gates, while Duncehead’s sonic cannon destroyed defenders on the walls.
  • Duncehead teleported into the breach, blocked the Skitarii’s fire with his magnetic field, and hurled the projectiles back at their firing positions as the Greenskins surged inside.

Ch. 315The Emperor's blessing

Grom and the Heavy Nobz crushed the Black Templars’ decapitation strike, but the Emperor’s Champion turned the battle and forced Grom to fight for his life. As the Champion’s Black Relic Sword broke Grom’s hammer, Grom called upon Boss Slick and experienced a sudden awakening of knowledge.

  • Duncehead led the Orks’ charge as the Black Templars arrived in Drop Pods and attacked the Iron Squiggoth carrying Grom.
  • The High Marshal and the Sword Brethren climbed onto the Iron Squiggoth, where Grom’s well-equipped Heavy Nobz overwhelmed them in close combat.
  • The High Marshal challenged Grom, was knocked down, and tried to shoot him with a Boltgun before Grom killed him with a hammer blow.
  • A pillar of golden light transformed a Sword Brethren warrior into the Emperor’s Champion, whose presence raised the Black Templars’ morale and strength.
  • The Emperor’s Champion fought Grom and broke his hammer with the Black Relic Sword, but Grom’s plea to follow Boss Slick awakened fragments of knowledge in his mind.

Ch. 316The Adeptus Mechanicus's Sacred Relic

Grom used knowledge and fighting techniques shared through Boss Slick’s waaagh! field to defeat the Emperor’s Champion. Meanwhile, Duncehead’s Orks broke through the defenses around the Machine God’s relic and encountered the Shard of the Void Dragon, which Plex had unknowingly freed.

  • Grom formed a green Warhammer with waaagh energy and killed the Emperor’s Champion, then roared in triumph and admired Boss Slick even more.
  • Duncehead’s Orks attacked Plex’s Skitarii defenses while autonomous Mechs and Vanguard fought to protect the sacred relic.
  • The automated Mechs turned against the defenders, giving Duncehead’s Boyz a chance to break through and destroy the Humie defenses.
  • Duncehead reached the sealed doors, where a tentacled machine drilled through them and unleashed a green shock wave that sent nearby machines berserk.
  • Plex became the vessel for the Shard of the Void Dragon, and the Orks charged it as it emerged.

Ch. 317Changes unfolding unseen

Boss Slick connected to the Orks’ Waaagh! Field and empowered Duncehead’s force as they fought the Shard of the Void Dragon. Duncehead wounded the C’tan Shard and severed his arm, leaving the Void Dragon shocked by the Greenskins’ newfound divine protection.

  • The Shard of the Void Dragon slaughtered most of the Orks with metal weapons, but the surviving Bosses stood their ground beside Duncehead.
  • Boss Slick connected to the Orks through the Waaagh! Field and used their belief to let their Choppas smash energy attacks.
  • Boss Slick saw Duncehead’s battle and poured Waaagh! energy into the Orks fighting inside the Hive City.
  • Duncehead used his generator’s magnetic field to rebound the Void Dragon’s attacks, wounding the Shard.
  • The Void Dragon reached to catch Duncehead’s Power Klaw, but the Klaw severed his arm, revealing that the Orks had gained a trace of divinity.

Ch. 318Sneaky Boss's champion

The Orks bombarded the Shard of the Void Dragon after it transformed into a giant mechanical monster and destroyed the Hive City. Boss Slick empowered Duncehead, who knocked the shard from its mechanical body and then fought its restored form beneath the ruins.

  • The Shard of the Void Dragon grew into an enormous mechanical monster, collapsing the Hive City and burying Duncehead and the Ork Bosses.
  • The Orks surrounded the giant with war machines and battered it with guns, artillery, tanks, and planes.
  • Boss Slick sensed the shard’s divine power and used the waaagh! field to heal and empower Duncehead beneath the rubble.
  • Duncehead burst from the ruins, struck the shard’s true form in the mechanical body’s chest, and sent it crashing into the nearby mountains.
  • The Shard of the Void Dragon made a new body, and Duncehead fought it as the ground shook while Orks headed toward the ruins to scavenge.

Ch. 319Vashtorr

Duncehead defeated the Void Dragon Shard, allowing Boss Slick to absorb its mechanical authority and discover that its source power strengthened Gork and Mork. Boss Slick identified Mars as a key destination and began searching for Vashtorr, while the Orks celebrated their victory in Octaria with a brutal new Blood Bowl Squigball match.

  • Duncehead grew stronger as the Void Dragon Shard weakened, then shattered it with a punch before exhausting himself and falling asleep.
  • Boss Slick absorbed the Shard's mechanical authority and realized its source power was flowing to Gork and Mork through the Waaagh! Field.
  • Boss Slick saw that Mars held the largest Void Dragon Shard, but hesitated to go to Terra until he understood the Emperor of Mankind's intentions.
  • Boss Slick searched the galaxy for Vashtorr and found a clue suggesting he was somewhere in Imperium Nihilus.
  • Boss Slick gave the Orks half a month to celebrate in the Octaria System, where they put captured Tyranid Warrior Bugs into Blood Bowl Squigball arenas.
  • On Ork V, twenty Nobs on each side began a match for a budget Big Boss Mech, killing the Tyranid Warrior Bugs before fighting over the balls.

Ch. 320Gradually understanding everything

Boss Slick rejected Tzeentch’s invitation and reconsidered his plans for the damaged Skull of Gork. He took Kidd to the battle star to repair and strengthen it, where they found Screws already working.

  • Boss Slick enjoyed food and drink with his Bosses, while reflecting that he no longer wanted to pursue godhood at the cost of his Orks.
  • Tzeentch spoke to Boss Slick and invited him to talk, but Boss Slick forced the voice away and erased his memory of hearing it.
  • Kidd told Boss Slick that Screws was tirelessly repairing the damaged Skull of Gork, and Boss Slick praised Screws and Dio’s abilities.
  • Boss Slick decided to repair and improve the Skull of Gork, seeing potential in its surrounding asteroid belt and the matter from the shattered superplanet.
  • Boss Slick and Kidd teleported to the Skull of Gork and found Screws repairing a Mekboy Workshop with a small crew.
