Ei explained that human wishes change, but the dream of pursuing a better life remains eternal, and resolved to protect Inazuma as its people advanced. The Shogun accepted Ei’s new understanding and their relationship shifted from creator and tool toward recognition of the Shogun as part of Ei herself.
Ei reconciled with the Shogun and accepted her as her shadow, then heard Raiden Makoto’s voice emerge from Musou Isshin. Makoto explained why she had left a fragment of her will in the sword, and Ei’s reunion with her sister brought her buried grief to the surface.
Makoto gave Ei the Sacred Sakura seed, which Ei planted through time to protect Inazuma, then said goodbye as her final consciousness faded. Back in the real world, Ei and Ellin watched the sunset together, and Ellin offered Ei a cold, creamy substance.
Ellin gave Ei ice cream, revealing that she was the author of the novel that had comforted Ei, and told her her true name. Ei thanked Ellin and found peace resting beside her; Ellin then received a divine core and inventory rewards for becoming close friends with Beelzebul.
After helping Inazuma prepare to reopen its borders, Ellin traveled to Mt. Aocang, where Zhongli and Cloud Retainer were mourning Guizhong and holding on to Ellin’s promise to bring her back. Ellin arrived and announced that she had come to fulfill that promise.
Ellin began trying to resurrect Guizhong on Mt. Aocang, guarded by Liyue's immortals and Zhongli. She released the soul remnants from twenty-one Memories of Dust, leaving Guizhong bewildered as she found herself surrounded by her old friends and other remnants.
Ellin helped Guizhong merge twenty-one soul remnants and reconstruct sixty percent of her soul, allowing her to form a body and reunite with her friends. Guizhong returned to Liyue, where the immortals welcomed her after a thousand years apart.
After Guizhong returned to life, the adepti welcomed her at a banquet and shared the history of Liyue. She explored the prosperous harbor with Zhongli, whose happiness at her return was tempered by her extravagant spending, until they stumbled upon a lingerie shop bearing Qingling's name.
Guizhong dragged Zhongli into a Slime Bra shop, where she discovered what the products were and bought one while Zhongli endured the embarrassment. After word spread through Liyue Harbor, Zhongli hid at Moon Carver’s place for three months.
After settling Guizhong’s affairs, Ellin returned to Mondstadt and met Mona through Fischl. She treated the hungry astrologist to breakfast at Good Hunter, where Mona eagerly ate until she cried with happiness.
Mona attempted to divine Ellin’s fate, but the wishes of her followers obscured the reading, leaving Mona to interpret Ellin’s Radiant Sun constellation as a sign she would stand high above others and be alone. Fischl comforted Ellin, who pointed out that she was receiving warmth from Fischl in that very moment.
Ellin helped Ei revive Inazuma by supporting the Irodori Festival, where her novel and ice cream drew huge crowds. After the festival, Ellin stayed in Inazuma to help with its recovery, while a barrier near Stormterror's Lair shattered and released a vast spatial rift filled with dark fog and filth.
Spatial Rifts unleashed filth and monsters across Mondstadt, turning much of the land into a wasteland as the creatures advanced on Mondstadt City. Jean and the Knights of Favonius prepared to defend the city while Barbatos raised a Storm Barrier, and Razor led the wolves through the destruction at Wolvendom.
Razor fought to protect the wolves of Wolvendom from an overwhelming Beast Tide, unleashing his Electro Vision and defeating a powerful Rifthound. Thousands of monsters remained, and exhausted Razor was pulled back into the endless battle.
Razor fought the monsters to protect his wolf family, but collapsed from his wounds as the pack returned to defend him and suffered heavy casualties. Andrius arrived to save them, then looked over the devastation and Razor’s unconscious body with grim resolve.
As monsters overwhelmed Wolvendom and threatened Mondstadt, King Wolf-Andrius gave his remaining power to the gravely wounded Razor, naming him the new Ruler of Wolvendom. Andrius vanished, while Razor survived and led the wolves in battle, carrying his king’s legacy into an uncertain future.
The Spring Fairy defended the evacuated town of Springvale from an endless monster tide, fighting for a day to protect its people, soil, and her memories with Diona. After exhausting her power, she collapsed beside the spring.
The Spring Fairy exhausted her strength protecting Springvale and prepared to return to the spring for a long sleep, believing she would never see Diona again. Diona reached her through the disaster and found her just before she left, bringing the friends together in the deserted village.
Diona found the exhausted Spring Fairy, who merged with her as an act of love and promised to travel with her after recovering. Meanwhile, Venti and Dvalin defended Mondstadt City’s eastern side, where Dvalin killed the Dread Dragon but faced an endless horde of Monsters.
Mondstadt’s defenders fought the endless monster horde on multiple fronts, using their strongest fighters, weapons, and coordinated attacks to hold the city. The chapter ended with Kaeya and Diluc fighting together against a massive black giant, which they wounded and knocked into Cider Lake.
Kaeya and Diluc beheaded a Black Giant at Cider Lake, while Eula and Amber defeated a massive lizard monster on Mondstadt’s northern front. The northern defenders continued holding the line against the advancing monsters.
As Mondstadt’s defenders grew exhausted during the endless monster assault, nearly two hundred Rifthounds entered the city and attacked its helpless residents. Albedo, Klee, and Sucrose rushed to protect them, and Klee joined the fight with her bombs.
Noelle and Fischl defended the Orphanage while Bennett and the elderly Adventurers fought to protect the Adventurers' Guild. The spatial rift closed after eleven hours, but Mondstadt still faced nearly a million monsters, and all thirty-two elderly Adventurers had fallen defending Bennett.
As Mondstadt’s exhausted defenders faced overwhelming monster hordes and Rifthounds, they prayed for Ellin to return. Sensing their desperate wishes in Inazuma, Ellin teleported to Mondstadt, froze thousands of monsters, and appeared to the city as its hope of salvation.
As Mondstadt faced overwhelming monster attacks, Ellin witnessed the devastation of the land and the suffering of her friends and its people. She put on Xiao’s mask, awakened as a Demon God and the new Anemo Archon, and was recognized by the people as their god.
