Hogwarts and Beauxbatons students clashed in a brawl after tensions over Quidditch training boiled over, while other schools showed their own rivalries. Half a month later, the Starry Sky Cup began with eleven teams entering the pitch.
Hogwarts began its Starry Sky Cup campaign against Beauxbatons, with fourth-year Seeker Stephens Diggory facing professional player Aude Ollie. Hogwarts took an early lead, but Beauxbatons changed tactics to defend against Wood’s attempt to widen the score gap.
Hogwarts battled Beauxbatons as Seeker Stephens faced professional Aude Ollie’s decapitation tactic and Wronski Feint. Stephens pursued the Golden Snitch despite his injury, while the score shifted in a tense match that remained undecided.
Stephens caught the Golden Snitch with a daring Wick Curve, winning the match for Hogwarts despite his damaged hand and uncontrollable broom. As he fell, Draco Malfoy rescued him, then insulted the players on both teams.
Draco Malfoy arrived at Hogwarts and infuriated students and visiting headmasters with his insults and arrogance. He stopped when John warned him that Mr. Greengrass was coming, then reunited with Little Dragon at the Stars Society, where the two struck matching poses.
During an Avengers operation in Lagos, Wanda redirected a bomb to save people on the ground, but the blast killed eleven Wakandans and left her shaken. Rumlow claimed the recovered bioweapon for Watson Wick, and the chapter ended with Watson preparing it as a gift for his son.
As Hogwarts students and visiting schools were driven into increasingly punishing study schedules by John’s guidance, the Avengers struggled with guilt over Wakanda’s accusations and Wanda’s role in the tragedy. Vision arrived with news that Secretary of State General Ross was bringing the Sokovia Accords.
Secretary Ross presented the Sokovia Accords to the Avengers, dividing them over whether to accept government oversight. As the Avengers prepared to decide, John and Percy planned the Wizarding Kingdom’s first appearance at the United Nations meeting, with John choosing to stay away and let his reputation unsettle the delegates.
The Wizarding Kingdom made its first public appearance at a United Nations conference on the Sokovia Accords, with Gilderoy Lockhart drawing attention away from the delegation. Percy Weasley rejected Natasha Romanoff’s attempt to gauge the kingdom’s position and insisted that wizards would meet other nations as equals.
As Stephen Strange begged John to heal his hands, John sent him toward a place where he could seek strength instead. At the United Nations, Percy defended Wanda and the Wizarding Kingdom, while T'Challa watched with interest.
John stopped a bomb from destroying the United Nations meeting, where Percy and Wakanda’s delegation were attending. After the attack was linked to the Winter Soldier, Percy ordered the Silencers to find the culprit, while Pheobe sent Helmut Zemo to help.
Steve found Bucky in Romania and tried to protect him from arrest, but Zemo and the Silencer captured Sam and helped bring the fleeing heroes into custody. In Berlin, Steve faced John, who reminded him that he had threatened to kill Bucky if they met again.
John confirmed that Bucky had been framed in the Vienna bombing, but insisted he still had to answer for his past crimes, while Hydra’s surviving members pursued the Winter Soldiers in Siberia. As the Avengers split over the Accords, the Children of Miracle prepared to confront Steve and Falcon, and Night Ghost vanished to hunt them.
Peter continued learning to use his powers responsibly while Tony Stark visited him and asked about Germany. In Wakanda, Percy urged T'Challa to build an alliance with the Wizarding Nation, and T'Challa agreed to discuss it with his father after taking revenge on those responsible.
Percy left Natasha waiting while a disguised man uncovered Hydra’s Siberian Winter Soldier base and Darren prepared to demonstrate his new Yellow Suit to the military. As the Miracle Six set out to capture Steve Rogers, Steve gathered allies and headed for the airport, where Tony was waiting.
Steve and Tony’s factions clashed at the airport while the Miracle Six entered the fight and waited for an opening. As the confrontation escalated, Vision arrived to strengthen Tony’s side, and Darren secretly targeted Scott.
Darren and the Avengers fought at the airport as Steve and Bucky tried to escape, but Maniac detonated an explosion at Landing Pad Five. The Miracle Six claimed responsibility and announced their authority to arrest Steve, while the Avengers reacted in rage and a new sound came from the ruins.
Steve and Bucky survived the explosion, but Tony’s team confronted them at the airport and a three-way battle erupted among the Avengers and the Children of Miracle. As the fighting turned against Steve’s side, Night Ghost appeared and struck at Steve.
The battle at the airport left both superhero teams battered, while Zemo realized a fifth party was exploiting the conflict to destroy the Avengers and target the Wizarding Kingdom. John reunited with Martha and protected her as five mysterious figures emerged to attack the exhausted heroes.
Darren and Guardian’s forces pushed Steve’s team toward surrender, but Pietro freed Bucky and Natasha before an unknown attacker sent an explosive passenger plane toward the airport. Tony, Vision, and Sam rushed to save its 150 sleeping passengers as the attacker gave them three minutes to stop the plane.
Tony and the other heroes rescued passengers from a hacked plane carrying explosives, but Mr. Lies turned the rescue into another trap. As five Winter Soldiers attacked and an electric arrow disabled Vision, the heroes faced a new fight with Sam's fate unknown.
The Silencers joined the battle and defeated the Winter Soldiers, but Lies exposed Bucky as the killer of Tony’s parents and Steve as someone who had concealed the truth. Tony and Steve fought until Steve shattered Tony’s armor reactor, while Lies left the scene and pressed a detonator.
John confronted Lies in the Mirror Dimension, learned that Lies claimed to serve fate by restoring balance, and then tracked him through MOSS. John returned to the airport, stopped Bucky and Steve, and helped the authorities surround the superheroes.
After the Avengers split over Steve Rogers and Bucky, John visited the imprisoned heroes and challenged their choices, while the political fallout continued. He healed Peter, promised to send him home, and left to help with the airport damage and medical response.
After the Civil War fallout, the Wizarding Kingdom gained a formal role in supervising superheroes while John considered the danger posed by Lies and other variants. The chapter ended with Sam, Wanda, and Pietro appearing at the Raft to help Steve escape.
