Leadership

• Jiang You / Yuliel — Founder and sovereign; holds audiences and issues commands from the summit’s Platinum Heavenly Throne 414.
• Annatania Gabriel — Divine queen and designated leader in Jiang You’s absence. Her peaceful regency became known as the Crown of Peace era 414 577.
• Sophia — Secretary-general and principal administrator. She manages practical affairs, assists Annatania, and exercises authority when both sovereigns are absent 1017 1508.
• Vice-Sovereigns of the Heavenly Kingdom — Annatania appointed Sophia, Aeryta, Michael, Raphael, and Uriel to rotate in government every ten thousand years. Livier, Sariel, Jiang Jiang, Jia’ailu, and Anwen’er were subsequently added 664.
• Lucifer — Holds warfare authority and later commands the entire Holiness Host during the fighting beyond Transcendence 1017 1599.

History

Settlement and the Winged People

After killing an envoy of the Eagleman Royal Court, Jiang You led the High Barbarian Mountain Tribe east to escape retaliation. The tribe reached the Eastern Sea coast after a month of travel and settled a beautiful, resource-rich mountain. Jiang You considered naming it Heavenly Mountain, but that name already belonged to the Eagleman royal seat; he therefore named it Paradise Mountain 13.

The settlers built a wooden village near the cliffs in less than a month. Their population later reached five thousand, and the settlement grew toward the size of a small town. During the sixth twenty-year period after migration, the tribe numbered one hundred thousand and occupied surrounding mountains as well. Jiang You assembled them at Paradise Mountain and formally proclaimed their separation from the Eaglemen as the Winged People 13 16 19.

Heavenly Kingdom and Expanding Pantheon

Paradise Mountain became the foundation of the Angel Race when the Fourth Tier opened for ascension. The first hundred Legendary Winged People entered the ascension pool, and successive groups followed. Aeryta led the first Guardian Angel Legion back to the mortal world 161 163 164.

Its pantheon expanded through the admission of outside gods. Arodas and Aikalia agreed to join and move their divine kingdoms into the mountain. After Valen’s Divine Realm was incorporated, Jiang You assembled the gods of both worlds, appointed Annatania divine queen, and assigned work toward integrating their domains 370 414.

War against the Abyss

Paradise Mountain emerged as a rival to the Endless Abyss. Its successes attracted displaced organizations, knight orders, Star Spirits, and other powers seeking to oppose demonic invasions 549.

Jing governed three hundred conquered layers as the Land of Twilight and was crowned Empress of Twilight. Jiang You then appointed her supreme commander of the final Abyss conquest, with Lucifer as deputy commander. The eventual conquest supplied the world power that completed Sevenfold Heaven 562 586.

The growing Angel Empire recruited angels from many races rather than relying primarily on descendants of the Winged People. Worlds rescued from Abyss invasions established churches and sanctuaries beneath Paradise Mountain’s radiance 566 567.

Astral and Multiversal Rule

After gaining mastery over the Astral Realm, Paradise Mountain adopted rotating vice-sovereigns. Sophia’s ten-thousand-year term began in Year 79801 of the Angel Empire Calendar and became known as its last ten thousand years of peace 664 670.

During the war against the Five Pillar Gods of Starlight, Annatania commanded from Paradise Mountain behind the Steel Great Wall of Stars. The mountain served as a coordination center for deployment, logistics, ranged support, and the universe’s final defense 824 841.

Jiang You later used it as the seat and traveling headquarters of Eastern Paradise Mountain, a Supreme Alliance sworn to unify the Multiverse and restore Holy Court order. After expansion beyond the Eastern Region, the alliance was renamed Paradise Mountain. Jiang You’s accession as Celestial Emperor subsequently established the age of Holy Paradise Mountain 934 1060 1141.

Departure, Decline, and Return

Paradise Mountain carried major expeditions beyond the Multiverse, first toward the Boundless Mountains and Seas and later against the Endless Planes 988 1186.

Before leaving to pursue Transcendence, Jiang You prepared safeguards for its survival. He instructed Annatania that Lucifer could use the Blazing Heaven Holy Banner to lead Paradise Mountain into the Multiverse Abyss if necessary 1248 1250.

During his prolonged absence, Holy Paradise Mountain’s control weakened. By the two hundred millionth year of the Holy Calendar, it ruled only the Central Region. Seventeen monarchs from the other domains united against it; returning angel survivors later found a devastated battlefield and the mountain missing 1389 1407.

Paradise Mountain eventually reappeared from the Multiverse Abyss when Jiang You announced the Angel Civilization’s Transcendence. His sword strike freed its people from ordinary existence and transformed the mountain into an extension of his transcendent being 1529 1530.

Beyond Transcendence

After ascending, Paradise Mountain advanced through a ruined gray land beneath Jiang You’s power. Lucifer raised the holy banner at its summit while Michael ordered the armies forward 1532.

Its institutions continued supporting the war against the Defiled World. Annatania and Raphael established Cities of Angel and a City of Ascension to supply the Great Wall’s forces, while Lucifer later commanded the Holiness Host 1565 1599.

Notable Landmarks

• Platinum Heavenly Throne — Jiang You’s seat at the summit and the First Tier’s source of illumination. Before the Endless Planes expedition, the Golden Hall and divine platforms sank into the ground, leaving the throne above 9,999 white-jade steps 674 1186.
• Golden Hall — Summit audience hall used for major assemblies and strategic meetings 829 934.
• Divine Bell — Summons senior angels and gods. Nine peals called the leadership to the summit before preparations against the four Supremes of Starlight 824.
• Lilaite — Capital of the Heavenly Kingdom on the Fourth Tier; received the Boundless Mountains and Seas delegation 969.
• Supreme Mausoleum — Guarded by Amoriel, formerly Shi Qicai, with little fairies living nearby and younger angels serving as guardians 586.
• Hall of Heroic Spirits — Established west of the mausoleum under Sariel, Livier, and Raphael. Human girls recruited as guiding envoys were empowered and trained as Valkyries 586.
• Hall of Sacred History — White-jade palace where angels record the history of Holy Paradise Mountain 1141.
• Summit apple tree — Brought from the Duchy of Bunod by Philgard and planted beside the Heavenly Throne to symbolize the safe return of those who leave Paradise Mountain 638.

Sacred River Heavenly Land Replica

A separate Paradise Mountain exists in the Sacred River Heavenly Land. Jiang You reproduced its appearance within Heaven so that a trace would remain even if he departed with the original mountain 1376.

At the replica’s summit, Rosela discovered an ancient Divine Throne beneath a starry sky and envisioned the Creator seated upon it, declaring, “I am Heaven’s will!” 1737.

Legacy

• Paradise Moon of Mountains and Seas: Jiang You forged a bright moon from bestowed Mountains and Seas authority and Paradise Mountain’s aura. He left it above the King Mountains and Emperor Seas as a sign of his visit 1005.
• A new cultivation tradition: The moon spread sacred power that developed into a distinct cultivation system. Its practitioners were called “monsters” by local immortals and gods, while many called themselves the “sacred” race 1007.
• Departed civilization: After the Angel Civilization transcended, descendants of an angel who had remained with a mortal family were charged with seeking the civilization their ancestor had left behind 1817.
