Koraman grew up among the hatchlings serving the green dragon matriarch Baili'er. He was half a year older than Xiluo and already capable of using Nature's Vine when he fought Abel. Taking advantage of the forest, he tripped Abel with a vine and beat him unconscious 1 2.

His victory immediately turned into humiliation when he noticed Alicia beside Xiluo. Jealous, he charged Xiluo, only to be paralyzed by lightning. Xiluo then fired a much stronger breath attack just past his head, leaving Koraman terrified and the other hatchlings astonished 2.

Further confrontations established the gap between them. Xiluo defeated him in a strength contest, after which Koraman pretended to be unconscious rather than face the spectators' reactions. Later, when Koraman stepped between Xiluo and Alicia, his attempt to rally the other hatchlings failed, and Xiluo flung him aside 9 16.

Koraman's desire to impress Alicia also made him vulnerable to provocation. Allen mocked his small wager and questioned whether he deserved her love, prompting him to stake his entire fortune: two gold coins, three silver coins, and twenty-nine copper coins 33.

Separation and Reunion

Koraman and Alicia escaped a Silver Dragon and spent four and a half years together away from their former companions. During that period, Alicia taught him spells she had originally learned from Xiluo. Unaware of their source, Koraman became convinced that his spellcasting had surpassed Xiluo and Gordon's reliance on physical strength 121 123.

The pair eventually found Xiluo's group near Niro City. Koraman challenged Xiluo, but his spells were intercepted or broken, and his physical charge ended in another decisive defeat. Alicia and Xiluo reassured him afterward, and he vowed to keep improving 122.

His reunion with the others was equally sobering. Gordon defeated him, and a later dispute over Allen's abilities and salary earned him another beating. Nevertheless, Koraman settled into the group and eventually accepted Xiluo sufficiently for Xiluo to share spell knowledge with him 123 138.

Over the next three years, Koraman and Abel remained closely matched. Their recurring duels reached a record of 87 wins and 85 losses in Koraman's favor after another prolonged victory 138.

Debt and Commercial Ventures

Koraman sought additional income while he and Alicia owed thirty thousand gold coins and needed materials for their Natural Green Dragon mutations. Inspired by Xiluo's wagered victories, he challenged the Quicksilver Dragon Xilian to fight both him and Alicia. The wager eventually reached seven thousand gold coins 206 207.

The plan failed. Xilian trapped Koraman in a Magic Net, publicly spanked him, and beat him unconscious. He and Alicia each incurred another debt of three thousand five hundred gold coins 208 212.

Alicia persuaded him to enter the same breeding-service business as Abel. Koraman initially considered it disgraceful and feared it would compromise his love for her, but accepted after she argued that affection came from the heart rather than bodily exclusivity. He began visiting wealthy merchants, while Alicia referred clients to him 212.

The pair also secretly operated a cinema. Barbara discovered their activities and extracted one thousand gold coins from Koraman by threatening to tell Abel about his breeding work. His fear of becoming Abel's laughingstock made him agree 239.

The workload carried a cost. Koraman's stamina and mana were exhausted after roughly twenty minutes against Abel's Blazing Thunder Dragon Griffin, which defeated him. His continued breeding work and secret filming of Ivy later contributed to two years without a measurable increase in his displayed strength 251 275.

Bloodline Awakening and Renewed Rivalries

Awakening the Natural Green Dragon bloodline restored Koraman's confidence. He became larger and stronger, defeated Abel using thornspike monsters, and proudly displayed his new physique. Alicia recorded the duel while considering an increase in his breeding fee 310.

The Adventurers' Guild subsequently certified him as capable of rivaling a level 15 professional. Alicia used that certification and his young age to promote his potential to clients 316.

His business later faced competition from Karl Filit. When Alicia confronted Karl over stolen clients, Karl threatened to expose Koraman's own activities. Abel then revealed that he already knew the secret and negotiated a contract granting himself twenty percent of the breeding income. With Abel reducing his direct client work, Koraman's business recovered 319.

Koraman also disobeyed Xiluo's orders by raiding merchant ships during a mission with Alicia. After confirming the raids, Xiluo punished them with fear-based illusions. Koraman's illusion exploited his terror of Alicia rejecting him for Xiluo; afterward, Xiluo warned both dragons against further disobedience 350.

Adolescent Battles and Tournament Defeat

When Xiluo distributed recovered spoils according to strength, Barbara objected to receiving less than Koraman. Their resulting duel lasted nearly half an hour and transformed the surrounding barren ground into vines and thorns. Koraman defeated his former supervisor, vindicating Xiluo's assessment 362.

At the Dragonkind Tournament qualifiers, Koraman demonstrated his Natural Green Dragon abilities by turning thorns and vines into soldiers. The Selection Matches proved much harder: a level 16 Excellence Tungsten-Steel Dragon overwhelmed his nature army with scorching metal fragments and a metal-storm domain 374 383.

Despite Xiluo's advice to surrender, Koraman fought until he was knocked unconscious. He and Alicia were eventually eliminated after five consecutive losses. Xiluo later silenced bettors who abused them, while Koraman blamed himself for failing to win money for Alicia 383 384.

His old rivalry with Xilian also remained unresolved. During another strength-based division of rewards, he challenged her confidently but was beaten into the ground after more than half an hour 434.

Church Activities and Later Expeditions

Koraman helped Alicia organize prayers, recruit believers, and hold monthly parties for the Goddess of Pleasure and Passion's church in Niro City. Both gained power and church standing. When the Church of the Goddess of Wealth sought intervention, Xiluo refused to suppress their faith 456.

Even after further growth, Koraman struggled with comparison to his companions. His level reached 19, but he still had not become Legendary. Abel openly contrasted that limitation with his own ability to challenge a level 21 Legendary through a Joint Spell with his offspring 501 524.

Xiluo later selected Koraman, Alicia, Gordon, Baphomet, Karl, and Galle Rain to attend the Sea God Blood Orchid auction in Faklan. There Koraman arranged a duel with Yulis Bamu, hoping to display his strength. After witnessing the Bam Brothers in battle, he accepted a postponement, privately admitting that he could not defeat Yulis 533 535 538.

Personality

Koraman is proud, competitive, and easily provoked by attacks on his strength, wealth, or worthiness of Alicia. He repeatedly identifies himself as a genius and treats victories as opportunities to display his superiority. His confidence has some foundation: he reports that the Dragon Soul Arena's ancestors praised his spell mastery and judged him capable of reaching Legendary during his lifetime 33 186 206 310.

His devotion to Alicia dominates his decisions. Praise from her can rapidly restore his morale, while her disappointment drives him into shame and renewed effort. He is intensely jealous of Xiluo and even objects to practical arrangements that would keep Alicia near him 53 63 297 418.

That pride coexists with considerable insecurity. After the failed wager against Xilian, he cries, blames himself for Alicia's debt, and admits that he does not know how to repay it. He likewise conceals his breeding work less from the public than from Abel, whose mockery he finds intolerable 212 239.

Koraman nevertheless persists after repeated defeats. Witnessing Xiluo's overwhelming strength can briefly curb his arrogance and renew his determination to train, although the widening gap eventually leaves him wondering how he can compete at all 122 234 312 501.
