Arc 25The Lich King and Ulduar
Patrick helped defeat the Lich King, then led the Arcane Pact’s campaign to stop Yogg-Saron and prevent Ulduar from re-originating Azeroth. He expanded the Pact’s influence, laid plans for a renewed Council of Tirisfal, and returned to Ulduar as Stormwind and the Horde weighed the changing balance of power.
- Patrick and his allies defeated the Lich King, with Tirion Fordring shattering Frostmourne and Arthas dying after briefly regaining himself.
- After Ner'zhul's soul dissipated, Lana'thel and the San'layn learned they could return to Quel'Thalas, while Patrick named Sylvanas Windrunner queen of the Avengers and the Scourge.
- Patrick led a small group to Ulduar, where Illidan killed Loken and the party fought Yogg-Saron and the monstrous fusion of Loken and General Vezax.
- Patrick persuaded Algalon to abandon re-origination, and Elune authorized him to command Ulduar’s Titan-forged and sever the connection to Yogg-Saron’s prison.
- Patrick invited Maiev and the Watchers into the Arcane Pact, made plans to turn Ulduar into a floating city, and proposed that Medivh help rebuild the Council of Tirisfal.
- Patrick addressed tensions between Quel'Thalas's Royalists and Council, ordered new research and school curricula, and planned a second floating city to seize Dalaran.
- Medivh returned to Stormwind, where its leaders welcomed him, while Thrall and Vol'jin discussed the Horde’s concerns about his return and the Alliance’s growing strength.
- Patrick returned to Ulduar, where the Iron Dwarves had recovered and the Guardians awaited his instructions.
