Power Progression
Nibelungen’s stone tablet records Lu Chen’s bloodline fusion or awakening, displaying rewards at specific thresholds. These percentages measure his progress, not separate cultivation ranks for the domain 2 4 29.
| Stage / Realm / Level | Chapter | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 5% fusion | 2 | The tablet announces acquisition of the Power of Earth and Mountain. |
| 5.1% awakening | 3 4 | The panel increases as golden power flows from Tang Wulin into Lu Chen; Lu Chen later confirms the change inside Nibelungen. |
| 10% fusion | 8 | Unlocks the King of Bronze and Fire’s power. A pillar of light erupts from the World Tree, and golden Dragon Script moves across the ancient stone slabs. |
| 13.4% bloodline power | 29 | The tablet previews Time Zero and Setsuna as the fifteen-percent rewards. |
| 14% bloodline power | 34 | Nidhogg’s phantom becomes clearly visible in Lu Chen’s sea of consciousness, and his Soul Power circulation speed nearly doubles. |
| 15% bloodline power | 37 38 | Reached after Nidhogg repels Old Tang’s divine consciousness. The slab releases power into Lu Chen, unlocking Time Zero and Instant, also called Setsuna. |
| 20% bloodline power | 63 | Touching the tablet registers the threshold and reveals the reward: the remains of Li Wuyue, King of Sky and Wind. |
| 25% bloodline power | 77 | Rewards Nibelungen manifestation. Revealed retrospectively; Lu Chen does not yet understand its practical effect. |
| 30% bloodline power | 76 77 | Lu Chen returns to Nibelungen after reaching the threshold and receives the Word Spirit “Don’t Die” from the stone slab. |

| Ancient stone slabs | Cracked slabs bearing intricate patterns that begin moving when Lu Chen reaches ten-percent fusion 8. |
| Unusual metals | Constantine identifies metals throughout the domain that seem to exist between reality and illusion 11. |

Changes to the World Tree
- Initial condition: Half dead, with one side withered and the other producing growth 2 8.
- External nourishment: The domain fills with Golden Dragon King bloodline power, Tang San’s power, and a trace of Silver Dragon King power. Constantine attributes the influx to the World Tree absorbing energy from outside 41.
- Visible restoration: Its trunk thickens, its bark cracks disappear, and its surface gains a faint green layer 50.
- Later description: The tree is again described as half flourishing and half decayed when Lu Chen reaches twenty-percent bloodline power 63.
Properties and Functions
Entry and Exit
- Lu Chen usually enters by sinking his consciousness into Nibelungen while meditating or cultivating 4 7 20.
- He can leave simply by thinking of returning to his body 4 15.
- Entry does not always require deliberate meditation: his transforming Jiao Snake Spirit Soul pulls him into the domain 10.
- During Di Tian’s abduction, Lu Chen’s awareness retreats into Nibelungen while his body goes limp. He remains able to observe the outside world from within 38.
- His earliest exploration is restricted: despite trying to circle the World Tree, he cannot leave its front. Later, he can wander through the surrounding wilderness 2 29.
Connection to Physical Objects
- Lu Chen brings a real Storage Soul Guidance Device into Nibelungen, overturning his earlier assumption that outside objects cannot enter 14.
- Constantine’s upgraded storage device allows Lu Chen to retrieve metal while inside the domain using Spiritual Power 24.
- Lu Chen takes an alchemical sword out of Nibelungen during his Spirit Ascension Platform trial 61.
- Nibelungen manifestation is a separate twenty-five-percent reward. Lu Chen notes that the domain’s contents already connect to the outside world, leaving the reward’s additional purpose unclear 77.
Conjured Objects
- Mentally requesting chips produces bags of them inside Nibelungen; one request causes enough to fall from the sky and bury Lu Chen 4.
- The domain also contains a conjured screen used for watching films 24.
- Lu Chen wonders whether he could take the chips outside, but the passage does not establish that he succeeds 4.
Training and Alchemy
- Fenrir supplies a dragon-script tablet through which Lu Chen learns Earth Vein Resonance, although Fenrir cannot explain its wording 7.
- Lu Chen spends his nights studying ancient Word Spirits, developing earth-vein manipulation and strength control 8.
- Constantine teaches him to sense metal’s vibrations and guide it with Soul Power before hammering 20.
- Constantine uses the domain as a workshop to modify storage devices and forge a longsword that boosts Word Spirit output by thirty percent and permits chantless Royal Fire 14 15 24.
- Nibelungen remains available for alchemical research while Lu Chen stays at War God Hall without access to his usual forging instruction 76.
Energy Supply and Cultivation Limits
- Early attempts at Soul Power cultivation are ineffective because the domain’s ambient power of heaven and earth is extremely thin 24.
- Its energy supply later becomes abundant as the World Tree absorbs outside power 41.
- Lu Chen subsequently cultivates inside Nibelungen and discovers that his Soul Power has reached rank eighteen 50.
Mental Defense
- Nidhogg and the World Tree confront Old Tang’s invading divine consciousness. The tree restrains him and draws away Spiritual Power through its branches 37.
- Nidhogg’s devouring runes prevent Old Tang from resisting or detonating his divine consciousness before he is expelled with more than half its source depleted 37.
- After the battle with Dark Bell, Lu Chen returns to Nibelungen and senses his Spiritual Power transforming while the Black King silently watches him 75.
Associated Inhabitants
- Lu Chen — Uses Nibelungen as his personal space for checking bloodline progress, studying Word Spirits, and conducting alchemical work 4 7 76.
- Nidhogg / Black King — Appears above or upon the World Tree, defends Lu Chen’s sea of consciousness, and watches over him during his Spiritual Power transformation 2 37 63 75.
- Fenrir — The first dragon Lu Chen meets inside the domain and the one who names it. He later becomes Lu Chen’s first Spirit Soul so he can experience the outside world, but continues spending time in Nibelungen 2 10 11 24.
- Constantine — Remains behind to “guard our home” after Fenrir’s fusion. He serves as an alchemy teacher and craftsman, asks whether the dragons can stay rather than return to their original world, and eventually becomes Lu Chen’s second Spirit Soul 11 20 28 63.
Unresolved Origins
- Fenrir and Constantine remember being killed in the Dragon Clan world, yet appear alive in Nibelungen. Neither they nor Lu Chen establish how this happened 63.
- Li Wuyue’s appearance as remains, rather than a living dragon, prompts speculation about loyalty to the Black King. Constantine recalls the King of Sky and Wind’s faction supporting the White King’s rebellion and hunting Black King–aligned dragons, but no explanation is confirmed 63.
