Jiang Jie helped Stromgarde repel Arthas’s undead, then strengthened the city by founding a magic school and rebuilding its guard. He later confronted the Emerald Nightmare, freed Ysondre from corruption, and returned to prepare the Fenris Isles for their ascent.
Jiang Jie helped raise Sky City, then entered the Sunken Temple to retrieve Dragon’s Call and confront the Nightmare-corrupted dragons. Eranikus pursued him to Karazhan, where the defenders held him back as Aegwynn prepared a plan to strike at Xavius and aid the fight in the Emerald Dream.
After the Nightmare’s attack on Karazhan, Jiang Jie warned the druids about Fandral and traveled to Stranglethorn Vale, where he helped Vol'jin rescue Yenniku and gathered allies to fight Hakkar. He brought Tsul'Kalu to Bambala, where Zanza’s forces prepared to strike Zul'Gurub and Jiang Jie volunteered to hunt the remaining high priests.
Jiang Jie defeated Hakkar, seized the Loa soul remnants, and advanced his cultivation while building a life with Fenna. When Zul'jin and the Zandalari threatened Zul'Aman, Jiang Jie gathered High Elf support and went ahead alone to defeat its legendary defenders, leaving Zul'jin as his next opponent.
Jiang Jie led the northern expedition against the Scourge, confronted Arthas, and freed Jotun from Loken’s curse. The group prepared to forge new Titan artifacts and gather strength for the battles ahead.
Jiang Jie helped cleanse Grizzly Hills and defeat Xavius’s Nightmare, then strengthened himself while battling Yogg-Saron’s forces. The arc left him overseeing a tournament meant to unite the factions against the Scourge, where a match ended in a clash with Grom.
Jiang Jie led the Northrend Expedition through the final battle against Arthas, established the Forsaken kingdom under Thoradin, and destroyed Frostmourne. After returning home, he left to help Varian while Fenna secretly traveled to Lordaeron, and Jiang Jie learned that Rehgar had formed a gladiator team with Lo'Gosh and Valeera.
Jiang Jie helped defeat the Twilight’s Hammer assault on Dire Maul and Stormwind, where Varian reunited and killed Onyxia. Afterward, he advanced his cultivation and welcomed children with Fenna and Calia, leaving to represent Calia at the Theramore summit.
Jiang Jie gathered allies to prepare for the Qiraji threat, then pursued the Scepter of the Shifting Sands and the means to create a Gate of the Twisting Nether. After binding the Scepter of Sargeras and Xal'atath into his Three Powers System, he remade Lord Jaraxxus as a means to control Fel and stabilize the system.
Jiang Jie helped the allied forces push back the Twilight's Hammer, lifted Grim Batol's curse, and negotiated with Emperor Thaurissan to free the Dark Iron Dwarves. He led the assault into Molten Core and confronted Ragnaros, whose battle with Jiang Jie and his allies remained unresolved as Malfurion transformed the cavern into a forest.
Jiang Jie helped defeat Ragnaros, then led the assault on Blackrock and killed Nefarian while the Dragon Aspects contained Chromatus. After securing the Scepter of the Shifting Sands, he confronted Erudax and Cho'gall, leaving Cho'gall badly weakened but still alive.
Jiang Jie resurrected Thunderaan, strengthened his Holy Light, and confronted Kil’jaeden while seeking to complete his Three Talents. After escaping to Outland, he learned from Nobundo how to unite with the elements and received their support.
Jiang Jie resolved the crises in Auchindoun, the Mana-Tombs, and Sethekk Halls, then helped drive Dimensius from Outland. After returning to Azeroth, he joined the battle of Ahn'Qiraj, where the Twin Emperors revealed that the fighting was feeding C'Thun's release ritual and Jiang Jie raced toward the imprisoned ancient dragons.
Jiang Jie destroyed C'Thun’s escaped portion, escaped his body, and returned to his allies before joining the leaders of Azeroth in negotiating with Illidan over Outland. He then helped Anveena recover Titan relics and reach the Halls of Origination, where the Keepers revealed the Forge’s danger and Anveena’s potential role in repairing the Titan prisons.
Jiang Jie strengthened his elemental and divine powers, aided Neptulon, and prepared to recover the Pillars of Creation while Anveena worked to repair the Titans Prison. After helping Uther begin his trials for the Aegis of Aggramar, Jiang Jie entered Neltharion's Lair to take the Hammer of Khaz'goroth from Dargrul.
