Background / History

Nohime arrived at Mount Fujikasane for the Demon Slayer Corps’ Final Selection. Initially perceived as too timid to survive, she was left behind by prospective teammates and approached Han Zhiqi for companionship instead. Though they had only met on the road, he allowed her to accompany him. 20 22

During the selection, Nohime’s inexperience and reluctance to kill demons repeatedly put her in danger. Nevertheless, she protected Akiyo and Yuka, fought three demons at once, and earned the gratitude of Yuka and Akino after Han Zhiqi finished the battle. 35 36 37

After Mount Fujikasane, she worried about Han Zhiqi during his recovery and eventually became Lang Beiwei’s disciple so she could train on White Dragon Mountain alongside him. 60 61 She received her own pink retractable Nichirin Blade before accompanying Han Zhiqi on the Shimizu Town investigation. 62

Nohime later joined Han Zhiqi’s search in Nara Prefecture, traveling alone over Old Crow Mountain to deliver his replacement blade. Her journey led to an encounter with the mysterious white-haired woman who guided and protected her from demons. 98 103 104

At Old Crow Mountain, Nohime fought beside Genya Shinazugawa and Han Zhiqi against Shokura. While restraining Shokura, her hair transformed into a fiery red, waist-length form as she drew out hidden strength. 124 125 129 134

In the Flower District, Nohime infiltrated Kyogoku House and discovered that Warabihime had captured Tamayo.
